Easy to learn for kids
Learn to fly with light wind, in a big field and plan on some walking. After you, as an adult, get the hang of it then you can use the two faster modes, even in pretty high wind. I'm sure the kids will have a blast with it. Maybe 8 to 10 minute flight time so two batteries better than 15 which is fine as you will be chasing it when you first get it.

Affordable entry level drone to play with
This is such a good entry level drone to have. I was initially planning to 3d print a drone myself, but it gets too complicated and messy. I have no plan to buy a drone that could cost hundreds or thousands dollars, so this is at a good price point for me, as well as providing me the drone experience worth of its value. It is very fun to play with and I would only wish it can last longer in the air, but at end of the day it is a drone which won't last as long as a RC.
