I am pleased that the toxicity of this product is well documented. Care is needed from the moment the tin arrives, since there are important instructions between the front of the label and the adhesive backing which fixes it to the tin. Basically, this is for preserving timber that is not going to come in contact with anything alive. The acetylcholine inhibitor ( similar in action to the poison curare) makes it essential to read all the instructions, including preventing inhalation of sanding dust. You must not use it on beehive woodwork or anything that pets or children might lick. But then... anything that really preserves timber is going to be toxic. Should be OK on high windowframes and wooden soffit boards and other exposed stuff.
