Works as advertised
It's not a tool that I'll use all that much, so was tempted to go with cheaper versions. However this one heats up the staple very quickly & likewise the plastic stick, of which plenty are supplied. Repaired crash damage to a plastic motorcycle pannier very effectively & and easily. It may not win any prizes for prettiness, not certainly as strong as it was before.

Already used this to repair a car bumper insert, and to strengthen a damaged motorcycle fairing panel. Very useful bit of kit.

Much better than expected
I often repair plastic, especially items like freezer drawers that crack manually. This was cheap and a much better solution and outcome. Wish I’d had one of these years ago.
