Great fan with strong wind
Does what it described and I bought it used with lower price, the fan came like new so I am happy with the product. However it is not quiet though but I use it to dry my cloth indoor so no fuss with it.

Brilliant!
Works really well. 2 speed settings- I typically leave it on the first one as that's powerful enough. Looks great, has a great finish and comes with a 1 year warranty. I use it for hours at a time in the day and even overnight and it does a splendid job. Putting it together is simple, and any table fan video online should help if you find yourself in a bind. I've used it overnight and never noticed any significant heating in the motor, which is something that worried me. Would recommend!

For The Price, A Good Oscillating Fan For This Hot Weather
Described as "quiet", but it isn't on the higher speed. The fan cage rattles (yes, I have checked it is fitted okay!) at the higher setting, but not enough to stop me sleeping. The lower speed is quite strong anyway. I wouldn't say "easy to assemble" either as there is a very small screw and bolt loose & free in the plastic bag that contains a bigger bit of the assembly. You don't know it is there & needed until you open the same bag to get the fan out. Luckily, the bits made noises as they hit the floor of the room I was assembling the fan in. Giving it 4 star as the price was good at just over £12 - and a brand I recognise.

Assembly a bit awkward, plus missing parts for one of two fans bought
I bought two of these during the heatwave. One was missing the little nut and bolt used to hold the cage pieces together at the bottom (the bolt can be seen at the bottom of the fan in product photos) so I had to improvise a bit to be sure it would stay together. With the day of 40+ degree temperatures imminent, returns weren't an option. I say "bolt" rather than "screw" because there's no threads in the hole in the cage for the bolt to tighten into - only in the nut. The other fan was complete. Although the rest of the assembly is easy enough, putting this nut and bolt in place (when you have them) is pretty awkward. First, who just happens to have a spanner small enough for this? Second, there's not enough space behind the cage to get my adult-sized but not that huge hands in place to secure that nut and bolt, so using one hand to hold the fan and keep the two cage-pieces aligned together, one hand to hold the nut and, errr, one hand to turn the bolt gets pretty tricky. Once assembled, on setting one the fans seem fine - not especially quiet, but not especially noisy either, and they moved enough air to stop me spontaneously combusting. Setting two was much more noisy for not much extra benefit so I didn't use it. With or without the nut and bolt, if you have particular reasons to worry about safety, IMO the cage doesn't lock shut securely enough, but as long as toddlers can't get to it it's probably fine. Finally, the oscillation on one of the fans was particularly jerky, seeming to lock in place for a while then suddenly ping a significant distance every cycle, but just because I noticed didn't mean I cared. Nothing I assembled is catching. I wouldn't be surprised if the missing nut and bolt are somewhere in the oscillation works, though if so, I couldn't dislodge them. Conclusion - both fans work OK despite one missing its cage nut and bolt, no real regrets, but I'd have probably chosen differently if I'd known.

Disappointed
Seriously disappointed by this fan, went with a well known brand that we assumed would be of a certain quality. Sadly this fan was worse than most unbranded generic cheap mass produced fans, hence very disappointed in Russell Hobbs. Size is good, the movement is very jerky and it’s quite loud, it does provide a decent cooling effect, but it moves, and looks “ cheap and nasty “ as my mum would say and she always bought Russell Hobbs back in the day.

Great size great value
It’s great value a great size and quiet enough for the bedroom for those warm days & nights. It also oscillates and has 3 settings so creates a good wide breeze if needed. I’m very impressed for the price. It seems sturdy enough and does exactly what I need in terms of functionality.
