This was so much fun. It definitely needs adult supervision, and they did recommend this on the instructions. We had lots of adventures putting this together and adding gloves and goggles for the whole 'science experiment' experience. Excellent! I added our own dinosaurs but it comes with two of its own.

This was a really fun and educational activity to do with my grandkids, 6 and 8. They loved helping to mix it, and checking to see the progress of the growing crystals. We had a blast assembling them!!They think I am super cool now. 😁

My 12 yr old son had fun mixing the chemicals and then watching these crystals grow for a week. He then had a great time putting together the terrarium. I wondered if he would think the dinosaur theme was too young for him but he liked it. His younger brother did the unicorn one with me. While the crystals don’t look like they do on the box they are neat and pretty. I do wish they came with more sand so you could see the different colored layers. It was nice watching the boys be creative together.

The media could not be loaded.  Beautiful gift for elementary age children! Fun to assemble and to watch grow! My granddaughter is so excited to get this for her birthday! I am excited to help her with it!

My 7 year old son enjoyed making this. We mixed everything up together (requires boiling water so an adult should help).We let the crystals grow for about a week and a half and I think we let them go for too long. The base of the crystal got too large for all of them to fit in the plastic globe.The crystals didn’t keep the color very well. As time has gone on they have faded more.I hope this review is helpful.
