Yonex Ultimax BG 66 Badminton Strings, 0.65mm (Black)

BG66 Ultimax is absolutely delightful to play with when strung with 25lbs vertically x 24lbs horizontally, good power great control and fantastic whooshh sound which makes u happy.Only downside after getting it strung twice on voltric10DG n Voltric LD9 it won’t last more than 45 days as its way thinner than standard strings like BG65/BG65 Titanium.================================Note: When getting ur racquet strung(Search on yonex website or google if u wish to know how much tension ur racquet can handle without damaging it) make sure u give 1 to 2 lbs less tension for horizontal than vertical.Ex-Vertical XHorizontal X-2X can be in range of 25-29lbs if u love ur racquet.Here is some info for best strings to play with from Yonex arsenal.==================================Starting with least favourable on left and ending with best to play with on right(This lineup also applies for hitting sound of mentioned strings with Aerosonic being the loveliest)BG65<<BG65 Titanium<<BG80<<BG80 Power<<BG66 Ultimax<<AEROBITE<<Aerosonic==================================Durability wise order, bcoz it’s tiring getting ur racquet(s) strung every 3rd or 4th week.Starting with most durable on left and ending with least durable on rightBG80/80Power>>BG65>>BG65 T>>BG66 Ultimax>>AEROBITE>>Aerosonic.If any one has more queries regarding 🏸 badminton racquets/strings/Grips/Shoes can drop a comment, i wud try to answer to the best of my knowledge.

This is the thinest string from yonexThe repulsion and the feel from this string awesome..But it has less durability and will break easily :(If you are an aggresive player who likes to smash often then stay away from this string..NBG 98 has more durabilty than this string but the repulsion will be bit lessPersonally I like NBG 98 for its feel and soundI would giveNBG 98 - 9/10Bg 66 ultimax - 8/10In short if you like to place the shuttle precisely go for BG 66 ultimaxOr if you are an hard hitter go for NBG 98I have strung the bg 66 ultimax with my voltric 5 and the drops are pin pint accurateThe net kill with this string is just heaven :) :)

too old product, year of manufacture was jun2018 bought in Aug2021, seller should mention the year of manufacture, the string broke twice while trying to gut at 24/23 lbs earlier i ve gutted Bg66 ultimax at 26/25 lbs , be aware the seller sells old product

Awesome string. For a week or maximum 2 it is very crisp n accurate. You can feel the control and repulsion. Combined with a flagship model you can easily dominate the rallies especially front court. Slices are pin point and works well. But after 2 weeks it degrades very fastly. Try for a match situation or tournaments. Though I should warn better to keep two rackets. It's highly probable that you will break it in high tension. I strung it at 26 lbs n it lasted without any issues. Any more than that, few mis hits - your string will be gone

First of all, the product is genuine. I have checked it with Sunrise distributors and all were good! Now, about the string, long story short: this is an allrounder! If you are an intermediate player, don't worry about the weak durability. I am using this sting with my VOLTRIC 0.7G SLIM SHAFT and its magic. I had reached almost tennis elbow due to BG65T (Hard feeling) but this string is soft to touch and has good absorption of the hit (Medium feel). Smashes are crisp and net play is good. Go ahead and give it a try. Tie at 26lbs to enjoy the sting at the fullest.

I was using Yonex Nanogy 99 earlier. Compared to it ....BG 66 definitely has a cleaner better feel. Drop shots are much easier to execute with accuracy.Where it looses is on the throw - more power is required to clear to the baseline.As regards life - BG 66 is thinner - but too early to judge.

Best string to use. Durability depends upon the player usage. Has always lasted longer for me.
