How about putting some dimensions

Although I own these speakers, I did not physically measure them. These dimensions are available on the Internet. Cutout dimensions: 9-1/8” W X 14- 11/16”H Mounting depth: 3-15/16” The mounting depth may cause problems if the wall selected for mounting is 2 X 4 construction. I hope this helps.

Do these work well for Atmos speakers mounted in the ceiling overhead of the listener? I know they will technically work. I’m wondering if anyone does

I have some of these mounted in the ceiling and they make excellent Atmos and DTS:X height speakers. I replaced a set of speakers with silk dome tweeters and these Klipsch speakers dramatically liven up the ambiance and sense of immersion into the sound-field.

Can these be mounted horizontally?

As long as your studs are not in the way. Yes. Measure the amount of room you have. Realize the tweeter will swivel up and down …not side to side.

Great Quality at a good price.

I love the finish, the look, and the sound. Installation was easy. The magnetic grills are super, and easily painted. Due to the small diameter of the perforations in the grill, I opted for a custom made aerosol rattle paint, rather than trying to spray water based latex for color matching the grills.

Excellent In-Wall Speaker - Highly Recommend.

I have been a Klipsch fan for many years, and this in-wall speaker gets the job done well and looks great. Sound quality is fantastic, and I really like the adjustable horn tweeter to aim your sound. I highly recommend these speakers. You will not be disappointed.

Beautiful sound, great price, awesome heights

I purchased 6 pairs originally. Added them to my 14ft ceiling in my living room, kitchen and on my masterThey are awesome. I run them as heights but they work amazing as surround or surround back.I just bought 3 more pairs, which is this review.Get them they are great.Much bigger than the Nile’s I had.

Sounds great and relatively easy to install.

These sound excellent. I installed them in the walls of my office now I don’t have to have speakers in the way on my desk. And the sound is incredible. Installation was relatively easy. I do, however, recommend using an oscillating saw to cut the hole in the drywall. Much easier than using a hand drywall saw. I used 16 gauge wire pulled into my attic. And it seems to work very well. Seems more balanced of sound than I would have expected. But maybe that’s just my EQ doing its job.

Sound great.

I used these to replace some Monoprice in walls. Right of the bat I noticed an audible difference. Crisper highs and better midrange. I painted the screens with rattle can oil rubbed bronze to match the plans wall. Easier to install than the Monoprices as well.
