The boards bend and Crack when trying to sit on it. I'm less than 200lbs so I know it's not because of my weight.

I expected something a little heavier when it said it was made from cast iron. We just had a storm blow through and the other bench we had didn't even budge, this one blew over about 4' into the grass. It didn't break, but I had to go set it back up. I might have to put stakes into the ground to hold it in place.It sits comfortably enough and the senior citizens who live in the building like the looks of it and the fact that it sits lower than some of our other benches.

I finally bought the long double garden bench I have always wanted to own. (It can also accommodate 3 people.) This bench is made of cast iron with supports on both sides. It is solid, stable and not easy to rust. The backrest is also made of beautiful cast iron. Decorated with rose patterns, it looks very beautiful and durable. The seat is made of five solid wood bars fixed and supported by four iron bars. Reinforcement increases endurance. Makes the chair stronger and more stable and prevents water from accumulating on rainy days. Great for outdoor use. Installation is also very simple and easy. I am very satisfied.

While visually pleasing, this bench is constructed of materials which do not inspire confidence. Fortunately, I am a very handy person and am already planning on replacing nearly every item except the cast metal end pieces with significantly more substantial, robust materials. I dont kow what kind of wood is provided, but I will most likely be replacing the slats with proper oak slats. That "PVC" panel in the backrest is the big drawback. It is a piece of cheap, flimsy plastic. Fortunately, I am fully skilled &prepared to replace it with something more durable robust. Most of the washers provided were also entirely too small and need to be replaced with wider fender washers if they're to be even remotely effective. Otherwise, the bench itself is easily assembled and goes together pretty quickly. If you're buying a bench for your tiny grand-daughters, this will be ok. Adults who want to sit in it should probably exercise a measure of caution.Supplemental/Addendum: After only a few uses, it is clear that this "bench" is unsuitable for use by fully-grown adults, one of the slats of the seat having snapped under me. The seat is far too low, and the entire thing is extremely flimsy and unstable. I will not be purchasing another one. You have been warned.

This bench was to be a memorial for my mother who recently died. It was terrible. It is not for adults to sit on. It is very very small, unexpectantly small. I could not believe my eyes. It does not fell sturdy at all. It is very very shaky. The look was nice but it is so small that I cannot use it. I'll just let it sit in my garden or something. I just cannot take all those nails back out and mail it back. it was a gross waste of money.

I should have known from the product description it was gonna be a piece of crap. It was written by someone who had either just learned English or was translating from Chinese. I’ve seen benches that look like this in the park but I was foolish to think that this was the same type of bench for $150. It is much smaller and flimsier than a “real” park bench. I weigh about 200 lbs and when I sit on it I can literally hear it groan! It was delivered with the box all taped up like it had been opened and resold, which it probably was. It was missing a few nuts and bolts so I had to improvise with what I had at the house. Assembly was fairly easy but the support system is poorly designed. I guess if you want a bench for little kids it would be okay but NO JUMPING OR CLIMBING ON IT for it will surely collapse. Also, the black paint is already wearing off after one day! Not sure if that’s part of the look they were going for but the green is starting to show through. I thought it might be a creative decision for the flowers but it’s showing green on the outer frame as well. In short, don’t be a sucker like me; buy local and buy American.

I’m looking for a nice looking bench for quite some time, finally found it. I like the color and a black flower design. It’s perfect for my from porch. It’s easy to assembled Just make sure you have the tools for that.

I really like the bench. it is comfortable.The only disappointment is that some of the slats could have been smoother, but, does not take away from the bench.The courier service was excellent.
