I've had this a couple months now. I rarely need to use it since my dogs are afraid of it after one wear, and all they need is to see the remote. The only downside is not knowing when the battery is low on the collar, as it will just stop working. I do like that it turns off when not in use and turns back on when picked up or moving. I only use it when we go to the dog park, "just in case". I just need to remember to charge it before we leave. The range is great, I haven't tested it in water.

I loved that it had a vibrate option! I hate shocking my fur babies. But it was effective and she no longer needs it. But the battery, after awhile, doesn't hold a great charge.

Well, I should have guessed that a cheap-o unit like this would not hold up. I owned a very nice Dogtra unit, that lasted for 3 and a half years. Tried to save a few bucks by buying this one. Reviews looked good so I took a chance. Battery charge lasted for 5 minutes, on the first day. Failed to power up afterwords. I would return it but I live out of the Country and shipping, alone, would cost me more than this cheap piece of plastic. Do yourself and your pup a favor and order a decent unit or go spend a few bucks at Cabela's.

This does not work as a bark collar unless you use the remote. You have to press the button to get it to shock. My dog does not get shocked when he barks unless you use the remote to press the button.

I only use the noise or vibrate so I cannot speak to the shock setting but it works really well! It also has withstood a lot of water, my pooch is a water dog and we haven’t had any issues with the collar even when he was in the lake

The collar worked great for about 6 months. Now the collar will not charge. The lights are lit up as if it’s charging, but it doesn’t work. So it’s useless & I’m out the money!

It is a reasonable collar that does the job with out having to spend a fortune. There is an easy to get to on /off button on the collar with a light that lets you know it is on or off and clear screen to read settings on the hand control. Charges up quick and lasts long.

So far we love this! We have a 95 pound lab who is very friendly and wouldn't stay in our yard even with the underground fence. This helps us remind him of his boundaries. He does much better about staying in the yard now. Granted, we have to stay out with him just to be sure... but it is still much easier to keep an eye on him rather than just using the underground fence. He now wears both collars (the underground fence collar & this one) whenever he goes outside.
