MightyMind PlayTray +Tile Magnets & Full Set of 32 Design Tiles

My children have had some version of mighty minds since 3 yrs old. It will keep them occupied for a good chunk of time. It is so neat to see their sense of accomplishment when a puzzle is completed. When my son was 3 years old and doing Vision Therapy, one of his exercises was a game called Tangoes, Jr. It is magnetic with much larger pieces. He really enjoyed the magnetic aspect - the puzzles were too easy, though! This magnet set is really nice to upgrade the regular version. I wish it came in a case so that I could toss the old box.

This stuff is addictive. It's even better with magnets. They're also multipurpose; they also adorn our fridge and hold up various priceless works of art.

ThisIs a wonderful time consuming yet educational tile game. It develops problem solving and logic thinking skills. He now has 3 sets and enjoys them very much.

I bought this originally thinking this was going to be a magnetic set of TILES not the magnets for the tiles :T for $10 I feel that is over priced for just magnet STICKERS to go on back of the TILES i have to buy separately. It would have been cheaper for me to just buy the magnetic set. this set is ONLY STICKER MAGNETS for tiles you have to purchase separately or if you already own some tiles. I could have just bought a magnet sheet and cut out the shapes myself for a whole lot less. I wish I could return it but if I had to return ship it would not be worth it :/

They are engaging and scaffolded. Just wonderful!

First off, I have to say that this review is strictly for the magnet UPGRADE set and not for the actual mighty mind game (which we give 5 stars).After having the original mighty mind set for over a year, I began to see how magnetic pieces could come in handy. I was constantly worried about losing pieces out of the flimsy cardboard box that the game came in. The only reason that I did not buy the magnetic set to begin with was because of poor reviews saying that the magnetic stickers fell off easily. In hindsight, this wouldn't really be a big deal because you can always glue them back together.When I received the set, I was so disappointed to find out that it only comes with a metal box lid (or tray of sorts). This tray does not quite fit inside the original box, nor does it easily store together with the original set. In addition, the expansion set of challenger cards is on a spiral binder and does not easily work with the metal tray unless you turn it upside down and hang the booklet off of it or you disassemble the spiral binding. It really would have made more sense if the company had just included a storage tin similar to what comes with the magnetic mighty mind set or a flat metal sheet instead.All in all, it is what it is. The magnets work fine, the tray is just inconvenient. I really wish that I would have just bought the magnetic set to begin with.

My five year granddaughter was only interested for about 10 minutes, put it away and didn't take it out the rest of the day. I'd say she was not impressed.

The tray arrived damaged. It was packaged in a soft bubble-wrap envelope, and had been bent. We didn't return it since our daughter wanted to use it. We bent it back, but tray has a crease in it.As far as the product, it works fine. The tray is a little large for the cards, but perhaps the cards in more advanced games are larger? Overall the product works as intended.
