Mixed Curry Powder (Mixed Masala) 400Gms

I found that one needs to add additional spices to give it that extra flavor that stands out in a dish.

Spicey, but in a very basic, bland way - not invitingly aromatic at all. If anything it's a bit smelly, in an earthy way. Maybe natural and normal, and this isn't meant to be garam masala, but could be better.

I've searched high and low for a curry powder like this. Unfortunately supermarkets only stock 'run of the mill' curry powders. I made a beef curry and although it was quite spicy (not hot), a dash of yogurt will add to the flavour. I'm considering ordering another packet before stock runs out! Note: expiry date on packet end of 2020.

Doesn’t say anything about the heat of the powder on the packet and as it was masala I thought it would be mild otherwise it would state it….it’s a red hot powder !!! I had to add milk,water,tomato purée and more water to cool it down….it’s as hot has curry gets

I thought i was buying a spice that was mild but it turns out i am a whimp and that this product is hot which meansitwill stretch a long way as i only use a teaspoon at a time in my curries
