So far, so good! Much easier to water our flower gardens, than with the old rubber hose. We do take care not to drag the hose on the stone walkways. After watering, we turn the water faucet off and open the hose nozzle to relieve any water pressure. The hose coils easily into a small hose pot.

Highly convenient. This hose expands to a good length then retracts when there is no water running. It is super light weight which makes maneuvering a breeze. Love the shut off valve because it adds another layer off protection from water waste. The materials appear well build however I will see if the hose actually stands the test of time when rubbing against the same brick for sometime. But it's excellent thus far.

While I love the lightweight design, and expanding and retracting features of this hose, I am concerned about its durability. I have used it for a week to water my pot plants on my patio and already notice it is snagging on the concrete. It is causing "fuzzies" to develop along its covering. Is this going to continue to deteriorate the green covering and eventually make it unusable in a short period of time? It already looks scruffy, and this is a disappointment, but it is, at least, functional for now.

I've used this hose for about 2 months now and I just love it...it's very light when not in use so I can carry it back and forth from back yard to front and expands when you turn the water on...it does "pull back" a little when you release the water but not much...I wanted a hose that I could move around my property and not have to "lug" it...this works great so far...

worked great for about 3 months....now it's leaking in multiple spots....no damage, spontaneous failure. Very disappointed as I thought these were "super hoses." Guess not

I wish I'd found this a few years ago - I will order a few more. I bought one to start with, and I am impressed with the quality. It is not the flimsy type with plastic fittings and less sturdy hose material, yet it is lightweight and shrinks up nicely. So glad I got it, and now I will get a few more for the other side of the house!

Hose shrinks as soon as I use the water and doesnt not expand to the full 50ft for me. I thought maybe my home water pressure was too low for this hose, so I bought a water pressure gauge to check my house pressure but it is almost 70psi. This is actually considered too high for homes, so I would not recommend this for home use.

Well, after 1 year and 3 months of use, it sprung sprung a leak. Really like the easy of use but if they cant make a durable one, I'm out. Back to my 15 year old "backup" hose for now. Golden Spearhead refuses to make this right so this will be the last product I buy from them... it's almost as if they designed it to last just past the warranty date.
