Recently, I installed the Fortress Smart Battery Camera that complements the other Fortress security systemsI couldn’t be happier. Setup was straightforward and the video quality is outstanding. The two way audio is clear and of very good quality. The spotlight feature works great as does the motion sensing.So far, I am getting alerts primarily on human activity. For it’s price point, this unit really does a nice job.I am a long time customer of the Fortress Security Store and I appreciate their quality products, technical competence and high degree of customer service.I have enjoyed and trusted both the legacy S02 system and now I have three S03 units installed. With the support that I’ve received over the years and the overall product quality, I recommend the Fortress Security Store products and their support.

This camera was easily installed and works very well.I recommend it.It will quickly run out of ICloud storage so a heads up!

The camera is small and discreet but powerful. I'm very pleased with the quality. Great value for the price.

Camera DOES NOT MAINTAIN CONTACT WITH WI-FI. Slow response to intruders. WORST feature, when the camera disconnects itself user must go through a difficult "Procedure" in an attempt to get it to reconnect. The first step is to "Press the reset button" - which you cannot do since the camera is mounted on the roofline outside. Assuming you can get on the ladder to press reset, you have to (somehow) balance yourself in front of the camera so that it can scan your cell phone for the "codes." I now have a strange roof ornament that does nothing. If you try to contact the "Support Team" you get a Chatbot that keeps repeating the same instructions over and over again - then has the nerve to ask if "Camera working Now?" And repeats the same complex instructions. Oh yes, it tries to blame your router - My router is XFINITY AND WORKS FINE @ 2.5 GHz & 5 GHz for all my TVs and other devices.

I've tried other companies cameras and found the instruction hard to follow and hard to set up. Great camera.

I purchased this camera (Fortress Wireless Security Outdoor Camera) on Prime Day, got a bit of a discount off the original price, worth every penny! Connection to my wifi is very good, this camera is mounted in our backyard to monitor our backdoor and have no issues with wifi signal strength. Image quality is good and the camera view is just right as far as wide angle goes. I was very pleasantly surprised to have Fortress reach out in email and offer a free solar panel to charge the camera - DEFINITELY a BONUS, the solar panel keeps the rechargeable battery fully charged and I don't need to unmount the camera to recharge it.HIGHLY recommend this camera, it is performing better than expected, glad I made the purchase, I may consider a second outdoor camera since this is working so well for me.

1st off the product is not compatible with Alexa. Tried typing in fortress security and nothing comes up. I also typed in the name of the software And nothing came up. The product seems Well built and very sturdy. I think the real issue is the software, VicoHome. In the software it has a setting for different times the camera stays on. Auto setting should let the camera record up to 3 minutes. I have tried multiple times and it only gives you 6 seconds with the 1st 3 being non viewable. The setting for 20 seconds recording is the longest that works. The other issue with the software Is you cannot find how to take it off the auto renew. Their instructions don't work and and after an hour of trying I finally went to the Internet where I found many complaints about the same issue with this software.. Maybe it works with a different software. That will be my next venture..
