Sturdy legs
I love my sofa, but hated that it was so low to the ground. I found these and thought they may help. I purchased the 4” ones and they are perfect. Gave me another 2” in height and they look great. They are sturdy and the color has the dark wood I was wanting. They screwed into the original holes. They were a little tight, but they fit snuggly and are sturdy. They were easy to install and also came with extra hardware in case you needed to replace the original ones. Definitely an upgrade and worth the price.

Great upgrade for budget couches!
Replaced standard metal couch legs on an Ikea couch with these. Really made the entire couch look much nicer and more expensive. Often get compliments on the couch or people thinking it's pricier than it is. Easy to install and seem sturdy.

Information for people who need it:
Okay so these legs are very nice for how much they cost. I bought them in natural because I wanted to stain them to be closer to the teak and mahogany tones of my furnace. The natural legs do you have a clear protective sealant over them so if you want to use a normal stain on them like an oil based or water-based stain then you will have to sand them they are not natural as in unfinished they are natural as in they are clearcoated. I assume the darker color legs that you can also buy or just tone sprayed with the same clear lacquer so you could technically still sand off that finish and restain them however you would like.I use the gel stain (candle light by general finishes) over the lacquer because I honestly will never be that close to them to where I will notice any details that might be a little blotchy and I was feeling a little lazy and I can be a little lazy sometimes that’s OK. Everyone’s allowed to be a little lazy sometimes even us woodworkers. The foam pads that come with them are OK. I would definitely replace them with a little clear or black Teflon tack protectors Because of these don’t pick up hair and stick to them, And they will not fall off if you drag it across carpet. I have Hickory hardwood floors and I’m not gonna take the chance of dragging the other wood across them and scratching my floors so this is what I did but it does come with foam felt sticky pads if that is sufficient for you. Now to get onto the meat of things, my couch was poorly made and already had a holes where the other legs I had were. They were too small to fit the little nut brackets so I had to drill the hole larger. I used a small flat head screwdriver and a hammer to push the other thread from my couch in through the inside and let it fall to the inside of my couch because honestly I don’t even care and that would be the easiest way to get it out.*****Here is the important part for everybody who is actually here to learn how to install it with proper measurements*****I used a half inch drill bit to drill the hole larger to fit the cylindrical part of the nut into the hole drilled it in and screwed in my legs and it fit perfectly the legs Rod is an M8 and the outside diameter is half an inch approximately (Due to it actually coming closer to 12.5 mm)Honestly good likes any bad reviews have come from people being idiots so, good luck!

Okay quality, a little off axis though
For the price, it's okay to hack an Ikea shelf. The only problem, which a few others have mentioned, is that the screw coming out of the leg is not perpendicular, so after is screwed in, it won't be straight. Of the eight, two are not square (perpendicular).

Extremely poor quality
The posts have all bent, one leg broke, and it's only been sat on maybe 4 quick times.

Worth the buy!
I used these couch legs to update and my sectional a more modern look. The legs were easy to install, and are very sturdy. I would definitely recommend.

Not cut straight
Love the idea of these legs but they aren't cut straight which caused the shelf to be uneven on the floor. Ordered a different brand for slightly more and they were perfect. When it comes to furniture legs, straight lines and cuts are absolutely a must. I did take half of the legs and use them on a different shelf (had to try all 8 to see which 4 were the straightest).

Easy to fit
Came with brackets to screw to sofa for the legs.Look good, strong, exactly what we needed to raise sofas enough.

Arrived damaged . Disappointed.

Badly made
6/8 of the legs performed perfectly but two of them had issues: the screw which is inside the wooden leg becomes separated as the screw has no kind of teeth or glue to hold it in place. This led to the sofa being so wobbly we had to remove all the legs.
