Very heavy duty, much larger than I had expected but great product

We use these on all of our classic cars to help keep them safe in storage

It is very solidly built. The weight could be considered a con. But the retro appearance and amp capacity made it the best choice for my application.It requires a heavy duty mount. Mine was mounted through a steel plate on a wood backing that supported the second step of the switch.The included cable connection covers were useful and made the final installation look a bit more professional.My one complaint is that the face plate was easy to scratch when installing the nut on the front.

I installed this on a vehicle with a parasitic draw in the dash. Works great, I feel like mad max every time I turn it on/off. However, on some cold rainy/icy days it shorts and I can unlock the vehicle with the keyfob but it won't start until I turn the switch on. First time I encountered this I thought I was going crazy because the switch was off, but I was able to unlock the car with they keyfob. It took a while to realize the cold and water does something to the switch to allow enough current across the gap to unlock it. Don't use this unless you know what you are doing.
