What's the night vision like? When can you use these most effectively?

People often confuse 'low light' observation with the more technical (and much more expensive) military application of 'night vision' which involves injecting illumination, not visible to the naked eye, into the viewing process.  'Low light', evening or highly shadowed, viewing involves using the ambient or current natural light available for viewing.  Successful viewing under these conditions is entirely dependent upon the lens coating(s) and light capturing ability of the particular lenses used.  Not only do our Aurosports 10X25's do a really nice job during the evening hours (we don't have much shade . . . until the leaves return in the Spring), but, at night, when viewing an illuminated distant objective, it's amazing just how expansive the viewed area becomes and how crisp and clear the close-up viewing becomes.  I had also bought a more expensive pair of 10X42 binoculars for myself - since my wife is a bit overly protective of her Aurosports - and in low light viewing the Aurosports leave them in the dust.  Considering the large variety of more expensive binoculars available, we've been tremendously pleased with the quality and performance - and responsive customer service - of our Aurosports purchase.

Looking for a compact binocular for bird watching. Do you recommend this one?

Super clear and vivid for bird watching. I am not sure it is the best but it can meet all my needs in Garden bird watching or hiking. This is pocket size, easy to focus, and can get a bright and crystal clear image. Super convenient kits!

How about the binoculars kits performance on taking photos and videos？

I  bought this for wildlife watching and it works great. Get a wide field of view and no chromatic aberration video on my Iphone 13. And you can adjust picture clarity freely with both close up and far away things.

Please explain "waterproof". Will they withstand brief, shallow submersion?

Hi Randall, this binoculars was not a military special binocular.About Waterproof you mentioned —— For ordinary rain water droplets, it has a water-resistant function. However it can not submerge into water and heavy rain.Thank you for your inquiry.
