Kettlebell Mommy is a somewhat dry and uninspiring book that contains no training examples other than Ms. Casabianca herself. I have heard that there the original guide for training with kettlebells while pregnant is the Baby Bells DVD by Lauren Brooks so I am going to check it out.

I ordered this book for my diastasis recti. I am looking forward to this helpful information so I can heal and get back in touch with my strength. It will also be nice to be able to eventually get back to some of the Kettlebell training exercises I used to enjoy before diastasis.There are a lot of Kettlebell trainers out there, and when an exercise becomes more well known (which is great) there also tends to be a lot of incomplete information out there (downside). I think especially for pregnancy training it's important to get information from extremely qualified trainers.Yoana Terán Casablanca has certifications from the best and most reputable sources for Kettlebell and physical training in general. I am happy to get to learn from a trusted source.I'll write an update on my progress later.

Mommies who care about themselves and Newborn
This was a fantastic book and inspiration to all mommies who are having a baby. There is a way to stay fit even if you are pregnant. Working your whole body to keep everything tight and gaining muscle while you are going thru your pregnancy is awesome. It will teach you thru each trimester what to do and give you ideas on what to eat to stay healthy and strong for for baby and yourself. Plus even after the baby is born you can continue to train your core back into shape and all tight again to have the body you want. Keeps you motivated with all the information you need from someone who knows and has experienced pregnancy. Take advantage of this great book of information for yourself and baby and get your husband involved also it will be fun to push each other and support each other thru this special time of having a newborn come into your lives. Best thing about Kettlebells it doesn't have to be a long workout you get can get enough in 30 minutes or less each day. Just stay focused and you will reap the benefits for sure!
