It's really made poorly. Don't expect a lot. If you just need something to keep books organized it's OK. But don't expect to be able to put anything on top of it, structurally it definitely has severe limitations. Update, it fell apart so I used some super strong narrow double-sided tape to hold the pieces together. It's pretty darn sturdy now. It's one of those purchases where you buy it because it's cheap and it has the right pieces that you can adapt to your specific needs by tweaking the assembly with bits and pieces you have lying in your workshop. If you don't have a workshop, or bit's and pieces lying around, don't buy this cube.

Easy enough to assemble but you have to handle them very carefully or they’ll come apart on you.

I was looking for a low-cost stackable item. This fit the bill and in the color I needed (red). On arrival, I immediately noticed how lightweight the box was and questioned if this was going to work. The instructions are clear as day with appropriate illustrations. To its credit, you are clearly instructed not to place on side or back as this can "compromise its structural integrity". There is zero structural integrity to compromise at all. No-tool assembly probably isn't the best choice for something that should be able to hold weight. The 3M adhesive did not adhere, a rarity for such a well-regarded manufacturer. The tiny dowels do not provide sufficient support, but perhaps a longer dowel and deeper hole could help. I bought one in the black wood grain that I will not even bother opening. The flip side of the instructions has contact info for dissatisfied customers but for me, the only thing that will make it right is a full refund to put toward the item that will actually work. Bottom line: spend a little extra money and DO NOT BUY.

The sides are "attached" with a 3M-like sticker strip. Since the sides aren't perfectly square and appear slightly bowed, the sticky strip isn't effective. "Sturdy" is the last word I'd use to describe these.

From reviews I had read, I was expecting something that I would have to return. Love the color pink and sturdy enough to hold about 20 of my coloring books standing on its side as well as all my coloring markers, gel pens and colored crayons. I am an avid stress reducing colorist. I would most certainly order these again and probably soon.

The boards themselves are very durable. The box is put together with double sided tape. Unfortunately, the tape does not stick. Once together, you must pick the cube up from the bottom or the entire thing falls apart. I bought quite a few of these and was in love with them until I put them together. After I put them together, I went to move them and most of them would fall apart and needed to put back together. After being put back together the tape lost most of its stickiness. These cubes are not worth the cost.

Very nice looking, but falls apart if you try to pick it up. Much less sturdy than the Okea cubes. Still, super cute. Just needs better fastening system. Maybe wood glue would help.

I ordered 4 of these cubes and one of them cake damaged. I needed to use it immediately so I couldn’t wait for another one to arrive so I didn’t bother asking to send me another but I’m sure they would’ve sent it without hassle I just didn’t have time to wait for it to arrive. Decent quality, lightweight, cute colors and great price. Just be realistic with your expectations.

we received the cube / already opened ... so the glue was no longer working ...I did not returned - but disappointed !

War gleich angetan von Recyclingidee und habe zwei dieser Würfel gekauft. Die Lieferung erfolgte gut verpackt und ohne Schäden. Die Farbe war auch genauso, wie erwartet. Der Aufbau war in ein paar Minuten erledigt. Sie Würfel sind sehr leicht, aber stabil. Habe die Würfel übereinander gestapelt und als Bücherregal verwendet. Sehr dekorativ. Bin begeistet.

Piece of junk. Fell apart in a week.
