Queen!
Soul Queen! This album is a bit different than her other ones that I own. This is a full R&B, Soul Queen CD! Taeyeon went full diva on the vocals throughout the whole album. It’s a full album with 17 heartfelt song! Her lyrics and full of emotions and love. This is a gorgeous album, the packaging is beautiful and the soft colors match her whole vibe. The pictures are gorgeous and fully aesthetic, pink, floral and soft. Taeyeon looks like a princess! This is a gorgeous album that any real Kpop and Girl’s Generation fan will enjoy. The Deluxe Edition was a good choice for me to pick!

Taeyeon-My Voice
Taeyeon isn't even my GIrls Generation' bias, but it's impossible not to love her. Musically, this isn't my favorite album from her-I do prefer her R&B/Ballad music more than the pop-influenced music here, but it's still well produced and well performed. The album was in good shape, save for some minor dents on the corners that I think were from shipping. The photos are beautiful and her photocard is so cute! Would recommend.

As expected, perfection.
You can't go wrong with taeyeon. I've been a fan of girls generation for a while now, so when I heard their leader was finally gonna have a solo I was beyond excited. Not only are her vocals phenomenal, you can really hear what an amazing range she has. Her voice fits a wide range of genres as well which she showcased perfectly in this album. This is her best album yet and I can't wait for her future releases.

torn
The media could not be loaded. So everything about the album is awesome, except for the fact that it came in torn. I'm not mad about it or anything though, for me personally, as long as the CD is intact, then I'm good. And it was :). The pictures in the album are all ok as well, so if you care about that, then there you go. I was just shocked for a second when I opened the album and the photobook kind of slid out of the hardcover. All was well, nonetheless (Taeyeon herself once bashed SM for giving out crappy album quality to her fans one time, so I guess that's another reason why I'm not surprised or mad). I'd like to think of it being torn as being abstract, lol. 'Cause you know.....Taeyeon is art :)

Taeyeon = Queen
Taeyeon is a literal goddess. Her songs are really good, she’s my favorite solo artist. I got this album for my friend since she started liking Taeyeon a lot. My friend was really happy to receive this album.

My first album ever bought and so far I am loving and enjoying it! Overall, it is very pretty, lots of photographs with song lyrics in the booklet, and a cute photo card :). It also came a week after i purchased it! Only downside is that the poster is folded.

A fantastic album!
I have to admit that I've not listened to much, if any of Girls Generation's albums, but I have definitely been listening to a lot of Taeyeon's solo work. In a world where honest talent is no longer needed to make it to the top, it's so rewarding to see someone like Taeyeon, who's simply brimming with talent, achieve such success. This deluxe repackage of Taeyeon's first solo release comes as either the Sky or Blossom version, includes five new tracks, and the physical album itself comes with a photobook, photocard and an event card. My Voice has quite a Westernized sound for a K-Pop album, but experiments with a variety of genres including Pop, Pop Rock, R&B, House music and more. With the five new tracks on this deluxe edition, this takes the total number of tracks up to seventeen:1) Make Me Love You - Probably the best track to open the album with. Make Me Love You does a great job establishing the tone of this album, providing us with a feel for the kind of music on offer, whilst also re-introducing to us to Taeyeon's incredible vocals.2) Fine - Taking on a more acoustic sound, Fine at first appears to be a pretty standard breakup song, but it felt to me like there were multiple meanings in the lyrics. The much-repeated lyric in the chorus "It's not fine" reminded me of the typical answer we may give someone when they ask how we are. When I'm not doing well for whatever reason, I'll tell someone I'm fine even though I'm really not. To me, Fine is both a breakup song, and a song about suffering in silence.3) Cover Up - After a fairly melancholy song, Cover Up is a much more fun and upbeat affair. It's a light and bouncy pop song with lyrics that talk of being unable to hide a love for someone else. It's really sweet, and feels nice and summery in tone.4) Feel So Fine - Another highly enjoyable and summery song. The lyrics make me think that this song is a sequel to Fine, having overcome the pain of a breakup. I heard someone once say that Feel So Fine is the kind of song you put on while driving along on a sunny day in an open top car, and I think that's the perfect way to sum up the feel of it.5) I Got Love - I'm so glad that I Got Love was chosen as a promotional single, as it's the one that first got me listening to Taeyeon. Of all her releases, this one is the most different and striking - it's easily my favourite from this album and probably my favourite Taeyeon song overall. Both the song and music video are just captivating, carrying the kind of feel you'd expect from modern cabaret. You're left in no doubt who's in control, and Taeyeon exercises fantastic command over her own vocal range.6) I'm OK - Again, the lyrics make me think that I'm OK is a continuation of Feel So Fine. There's a similar feel to both of them, with the acceptance of a breakup, and the desire to carry on, while factoring in a nice mix of R&B with light Pop Rock too.7) Time Lapse - With one of Taeyeon's best vocal performances on the album, swelling music to accompany her, and lyrics that talk about life when you've lost someone, whether it be family, friends, a lover or anyone really, the emotions are definitely felt when listening to this one.8) Sweet Love - As its name would suggest, Sweet Love is a really nice and romantic song. The light, almost fairytale-like music works so well with Taeyeon's voice, especially as it reaches the high notes during the chorus.9) When I Was Young - It's amazing to think that nine tracks in on a Taeyeon album, I've avoided using the word ballad until now. When I Was Young is the first song I'd call a proper ballad from this album, and yet again, the vocals, the music and the lyrics are all beautiful.10) I Blame On You - Another ballad, and another emotional song. This far into the album, there's little I can say about this song I haven't said about every other track - the music, the vocals, everything, it's just exquisite.11) Lonely Night - (see above)12) 11:11 - Why 11:11 isn't Track 11 I'll never understand. Still, 11:11 has an acoustic sound throughout and is another heartfelt breakup song. More than any other track, 11:11 has an appropriate gentle, dreamy sound to it that fits the reminiscent tone of the song.13) Love In Colour - After I Got Love, Love In Colour is a close contender for my favourite song from the album. It's yet another breakup song, but there's something about the simplicity of just Taeyeon's voice and the piano, and how pristine this song feels that I absolutely love about it.14) Fire - Following a string of ballads and breakup songs, Fire breathes new energy back into things, with a much more active, alive song. Even though the music is hardly rapid, Taeyeon's voice explodes during the chorus to deliver something truly memorable.15) Eraser - Eraser carries on from Fire's more upbeat nature to deliver a fun and funky track. At one point, Taeyeon even briefly breaks out into a rap chorus - something I certainly didn't expect but definitely welcome. It's the shortest track on here, but it's not a forgettable one.16) Curtain Call - Appropriately, Curtain Call begins to bring the album to a close. It's the kind of song you'd expect to hear at the end of a concert, and save for one last track, is a brilliant at rounding My Voice off.17) Time Spent Walking Through Memories - Exclusive to the CD release, this final track is the studio version of a cover song Taeyeon originally performed live. While I haven't heard the original version of this song, it really suits Taeyeon's voice and moves at a gentle, relaxing pace.It's been difficult to do a track-by-track review of this album because there's only so many ways you can say 'good'. These seventeen songs provide nearly an hour of listening, and I wholeheartedly recommend this album. It's an accessible listen, and I've known people enjoying it who aren't even K-Pop fans. From one of the best vocalists in K-Pop today, this is probably Taeyeon's best release to date.
