Rubie's Adult Charades Funky Chicken Costume

Item was purchased as part of a fundraiser for a school. The quality is great for the low price. The students can’t wait to vote on and see which teacher will have to wear the chicken suit!

Awesome looking but it does shed

Bought this for an ultimate frisbee tournament, so I spent a lot of time running around and getting sweaty in this thing. It ran pretty large - I am 5' tall and ordered a small, and, unsurprisingly, it was a little large (even though I expected a loose fit, I definitely could've ordered an XS and been okay). It held up pretty well for the price, and I appreciated that the headpiece was separate from the rest of the costume because I was able to take it off and use my own chicken hat. The velcro in the back that you use to close it was a bit annoying - when the costume is open, the velcro sticks to the costume and takes a gentle touch to unstick without feeling like you're going to rip a giant hole in it. But overall, the costume held up for several days despite feeling kind of cheap, and it was definitely worth the price.Small warning: the thing just hemorrhages yellow fibers when you first take it out the package. After shaking it out a bit and running around, it stopped leaving a trail of yellow behind me, but it was a bit messy at first.

The media could not be loaded.  I need this for my son’s Boy Scouts fundraiser, We sale chicken to raise money for the troop to do things. It was a hit. Fits well, not too hot for summer, but big enough for me to wear a jacket under it in the fall, very comfortable.

When your 3 year old tells you you WILL be going as a chicken for Halloween, you start looking at chicken costumes, and I landed on this one. I'm 6'0" and about 225lbs, and I can say that the Xlarge was... snug. I would certainly NOT recommend for anyone taller or heavier than me, but as long as you are in better shape this works well. The plush is very soft, the socks are reasonably built, and it held up to a long night w/ no issues.

I was quite impressed with this chicken suit. I've only had it for a few weeks, but the quality seems quite high. I actually went rollerskating in the suit and it held up perfectly. There are some little yellow feathers that come off, but it does not shed the way I was worried it might. It was just a tad smaller then I would have excepted in the large size but not enough to be an issue. The stockings it comes with are a very nice touch.

We had a lot of fun with it. Just a heads up that they fit a little small, had a couple guys at about 6' 3" wearing xl and couldn't do it up on the back. But it worked for what we needed. 2 of them had a hole in the armpit area but it's hard to tell if it came like that or if they got ripped when the guys put them on (since they fit small...)

This is really a cute design, but it leaves the yellow strings alllll over you. Do NOT wear black under this or else. Tiny gold/yellow strings everywhere.

This costume looked great on and was very comfortable. A couple of things: the striped socks came with a run in them (pretty flimsy, too). There was a couple of small stains on the costume, and I needed to put a safety pin in the beak so it lifted off my face. Had the stains and run not been on the costume, I would have given it 5 stars. I wore this all day at school (I’m a principal). It got warm when dancing the chicken dance, but it was very comfortable otherwise.
