A great way to expand your dice collection
I really love these dice. There were only a couple of dice with some minor blemishes, and overall they really look great.I like that this collection has six sets of transparent dice, most sets have fewer. I really like the look of transparent dice and for manufacturing reasons transparent dice are more likely to roll fairly than opaque dice.I'm planning to float test the dice soon to check their balance. I'll update this review if anything dramatic comes up during that.If you're looking to expand your dice collection this is a great and really affordable way to do it. It also might be useful to go in on with friends (or as a gift), you're getting around six sets for the retail price of one set by itself.

the dice were good in my sets
Ordered 2 these sets, 1 Bonus die was blue sparkle, other was Green sparkle as shown. I received all 18 sets in separate Mini ziplock bags, including the bonus die its own bag. Overall, the dice were good in my sets. Had a maybe 3/36 D 4 with small scratch filled in with the numbering paint, Hardly noticeable. D 6, had maybe 6/35* with scratches on the 2, again getting somewhat filled in with the paint. Only on the number 2, could still clearly read every 1. D 8 were all Perfect 37/37*. D 10 & D 100 were fine, a few had some missing paint in #, but all could be easily read except 1. I had 1 flawed D 100 in 254 dice. Pearly white must have had a air bubble near surface, and it has a sort of hole, but surprisingly, can still clearly read the 20 on its side. D 100, lands on sides well still, not a deal killer, would have been worse on 12/20. D 12 good, couple had a some missing paint on a number, could still be read. D 20, Had some minor paint missing / shallow issues, could all still be read. Was an issue on # 6, having scratch above sometimes looking like a crescent moon filled in with the white paint. Was smooth to touch on maybe 8/36. Had 1 set missing a D 6 had 2 D 8. I was ok with that, easy to replace a D 6. So 1 Flawed die in 2 set, a few minor paint issues on #'s, Scratches on the #2 on D 6, and D 20 having scratch above # 6. All #'s could be read.

Lots of dice for the money
This is a great set of dice. I received all 18 different sets plus a gold glittery larger d20. Each set was packaged in its own little zip locked back and all in the cloth bag. I haven't rolled all of them, but those that I did roll seemed to give me a good balance of randomness. I got 6 sets of the "see-through" dice, 3 sets of "marbled" dice, 8 sets of solid color dice and 1 set of white glittery ivory looking dice, plus the glittery gold d20. The numbers are easily readable. They are all indented numbers. The numbers are painted white, except on the two "white" colored dice. The solid white is painted black numbers and the "ivory" has gold colored numbers. There were a couple of issues that I found in all of the 127 dice. A minor issue was the solid mustard colored dice has the d12 more yellow-y than the rest of that set. The other issue is more of a major issue for a die. The marbled amber colored die has a big bubble hole on the 20 of the percentile d10. If you count major issues, that is less than 1%. For me that wasn't enough to remove a star because I also received the set 1 day earlier than what was predicted.

Excellent set of dice
These dice are AWESOME. If you are a gamer they are perfect. The color options are impressive, they don't look or feel cheaply made and they have good weight and feel to them. The black velvet bag is well made and should last a long time. In addition, the options/types of dice that are in the bag are such that they should meet almost any purpose one can imagine.I bought them primarily for scoring when I play Pokemon with my little "grandson". As his mentor I've been trying to learn the game as a bonding agent with him but while learning I was having a hard time keeping up with the cheap paper counters that came with the card sets. After watching several people playing at tournaments we saw all of the serious players using dice such as the ones that come in this set. I'm so glad I came across these. You can't go wrong with this set if you're looking for high quality dice at a reasonable price and my little "grandson" couldn't be more pleased. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great sets at great price.
First, the sets I received were nearly identical to the sets shown in the pictures. No surprises on that front. What I was surprised to find is that more than half the sets had absolutely no defects, not only was the surface flawless but no interior or color blemishes either.50% may seems low for people who aren't used to purchasing dice, but when you compare to sets that sell individually for $6 to $9 set this puts you far ahead in terms of value.I will say that the font and color contrast of the numbers on these dice is much more for show than practicality and can be hard to read, but again for the price if even three sets were useable you still got your money's worth. I recommend this to anyone looking to start or expand a dice collection.

Quantity over quality, but I'm satisfied
I will start out by saying that some of these dice are less than perfect. There's one I found that I would even describe as deformed. But all of them are still rollable (maybe not mathematically fair, but will sit with each number faceup). 90% of the dice are perfect. About 80% of the sets, when separated into colors, are perfect. However, if you're like me, you don't care about getting a bag full of perfectly-formed, balanced dice that are geometrically symmetrical in all directions, with perfectly-painted numbers on all sides. You want a crapload of cool-looking dice. And that's what you'll get with these. If you're the kind of person who gives your dice the saltwater check, look elsewhere. The one issue I have is with the lettering on the bag that says "Risky Actions" in big, white letters. Almost every single one of my friends has cracked a joke about it. But the bag itself is good quality and is only about half full when filled with all the dice in this set.
