The battery looks and works like a genuine Apple battery. Tools are OK.
The battery arrived quickly and was well packed. It looked pretty much exactly like the original Apple battery that was in the laptop. It was easy to install (be sure not to forget the screw hidden under a label). The included tools work, but aren't great. I had recently moved and all my regular tools were in my prior location, so it was very helpful to have these. They will suffice for changing a single battery. The new battery seems to work just fine. I did reset the SMC (System Management Controller) just to be safe. There are instructions on the web, but basically press the Shift+Control+Option keys and the Power button at the same time. Release all keys and the power button at the same time. The original battery had very few cycles on it (17) but it started swelling and prevented the trackpad from clicking. It would likely have continued to swell and potentially damage something so it had to be changed.I would have no problem buying another battery from Temark. My family has another 2 MacBook Pros that were all bought at the same time, so they too will likely have the battery fail and I'll definitely buy this one again. There are some less expensive batteries available, but even the pictures didn't look like the original.

Works with Mid 2012 MacBook Pro (non retina)
I purchased a new Telmark battery for my Apple MacBook Pro (mid 2012). The battery arrived quickly and was packed very securely. The battery was an exact match and the size, weight, and dimensions matched the old battery. I also liked that this kit came with the necessary tools to install it. After the installation, the cycle count was set to one as expected. I drained the battery completely before charging for the first time and since have had zero problems. The performance is better and I now notice longer use times while in the airport. Overall I am happy with this purchase and the price was good as well.

Hmmm..
Now that I have finally installed it, and have a dozen or so charge cycles on it, I can accurately rate this purchase.Pro: It was easy to install, Included screwdrivers a huge plus, fit well. Lasts longer than old battery. Well packaged.Con: Temporarily caused same problem as my old battery, Signal to Discharge Indicator isn't smooth. Doesn't hold a charge as long as my original battery when it was new.To be honest, I am a little disappointed. I bought this to replace a battery with over 1400 charge cycles on it. It had started to swell, causing all kinds of random havoc with the trackpad (located directly above the battery) The cursor would go freaking wild, clicking and jumping, zooming the screen in and out. Makes it entirely IMPOSSIBLE to use you Mac.This battery worked fine for a couple of charges, then started to swell like the old battery (which took over a thousand charges before it started swelling). To be fair this new battery did it 5 or six times, then hasn't done it since. It seems to be hyper sensitive to temperature changes. acting up (ie: cursor craziness) when coming in from 100 degree weather into 70 degree air conditioning, or visa versa. And another anomaly... the battery charge indicator shows the remaining charge at any given moment. By the indicator, it discharges fairly rapidly (as fast as my worn-out battery) to the 5% mark, then sits on the 5% mark for a very long time. So long, in fact, that I have started to ignore the 5% warning, and the MAC dies on me eventually, totally forgetting about the 5% warning from much earlier. Makes it hard to judge how long the battery actually lasts.Anyway, it is better than my old battery (that I managed to get over 40% more life out of then Apple said I should).I think I will probably try to find 100% Apple OEM battery next time. If you are in a pinch and need a battery ASAP, at a fair price, this is it. Though I am a little disappointed, this battery is working out for now.

Not good.
Works fine. Seems to weigh pretty much the same as the OEM. Looks just like the OEM, even seems to have a slightly longer cable. The included tools worked fine, and it was easy to install. Charged it up to full, then ran the MacBook Pro for a solid 4+ hours, doing my normal daily workload. We'll see if that time is sustained over repeated cycles. So far I can't tell the difference. A lot of the reviews say that it died quickly over time, so we'll see what happens, but even if it does, it's warrantied, so for now, I'm quite satisfied.FOLLOWUP: Originally purchase on May 27th, installed on May 29th or so. It's been over 2 months now. I gave it a chance, I really did. A little over week or so into using this battery, the strange power issues started. The system would randomly go into sleep mode, even while using it. If manually placed into sleep mode, the system would only wake up half of the time; the other half, a hard system power down is necessary. I began using an anti-sleep application to stop the random sleeps. Now the system just crashes. Sometimes I find it already rebooted, sometimes it's frozen, and this morning I had a new one: mouse motion with no interaction. External SSH was possible, but a reboot attempt was fruitless. Even with anti-sleep on, the system immediately goes into sleep when you unplug it. The battery will often start to discharge, even while plugged in (which is why I think it sleeps). Then, once the system recovers, the battery meter will show "Finishing charge (0:00 Until Full) permanently. This battery is not good, and I have revised my rating to match this.
