Yes. If the shoe fits well then that is normal and part of the design but it should not be uncomfortable or prevent you from walking normal. You can read about it on the Dansko website.

Unfortunately, if you don't contact the seller specifically they can not check their stock. but do look to put an alert on the wide width in the size you are looking for.

Q: How high is this heel?

The back of the shoe is about one inch although the front has a thicker sole. I have foot/ankle issues where I cannot wear any type of high heel and these shoes are very comfortable. My go to for traveling.
