I love the mushroom timer :) The stove we bought a while back has the quietest timer I've ever (not) heard. I can hear it if I'm in the kitchen but even sitting on my couch nearby I can't. The mushroom timer is adorable and sits on the back of the stove until I need it. It's easy to wind and works perfectly each time, saving my food from getting overcooked when I don't hear the oven's built-in timer. The mushroom is a nice loud timer that I can definitely hear from a distance. I could set a timer on my phone I guess, but I look forward to doing the mushroom timer instead.

I looooove this timer. I bought this because it was super cute and I was tired of setting alarms on my phone. It is loud enough to hear when it goes off and it it perfect to put on the counter next to the stove. Some people complained about not being able to use it, but you have to follow the instructions that they give you. There is a note that tells you how to use it for the first time, plus the note is on the sticker on the bottom. I had no issues and love the price.

I needed a simple kitchen timer as my old style finally broke. This one is easy to use and portable to carry from room to room, as needed. Follow the wind-up directions. Read the directions! I did take a black magic marker and drew a thick black arrow upwards on the base and pointed the arrow to the zero number, so I could see from a distance how much time was left for cooking or baking time. We have been using this mushroom for months and are happy with the design and function. It keeps accurate time.

The box says ‘cute mushroom timer’ and that is exactly what you get, lol. Looks exactly like the photo, seems sturdy enough for the price. Make sure you read the instructions before you use it for the first time, you do have to wind it all the way up before setting it to the time you want or the alarm won’t ring. You do this by just twisting the top clockwise all the way to 55, then twisting counterclockwise until the arrow is pointing at your desired time. It’s a bit bigger than it looks in the photos, but still nice and cute :)The only issues I can see is that 1. It’s not the most accurate, with the alarm sometimes going off as much as 30 seconds before or after the time I set, so I wouldn’t use it for things that need to be very precisely timed (I have it in my bathroom for timing skincare steps like sheet masks), and 2. The alarm isn’t the loudest, so if you set it and leave the room or have the TV or music playing it may be difficult to hear.

I use a timer for classroom centers and my students love the colors for this timer. I had another one previously that lasted about two years before it died.

This was a Christmas gift for enthusiastic cooks, and they were delighted by its color, its originality and function.

Using this fun timer for potty training! Easy for the toddler to reset!

It’s very cute, but I’ve noticed that sometimes the time will be up, but the alarm never sounded.
