GROHE13273000 Eurosmart Cosmopolitan Diverter Tub Spout, Starlight Chrome

After returning several tub spouts that I ordered only to discover they were made of plastic, I researched spouts, then selected this one, which is all metal. I was concerned that the plastic spouts, if they took an impact, would crack and leak. I like this spout, its modern appearance, shine, heaviness/sturdiness. The diverter does not leak even a drop, and operates smoothly but pushing it down. It automatically pops back up when the water is shut off. The spout is quite long compared to the others I ordered. Water tends to pool on the top of the spout shaft because it is flat, rather than running off.

This is one of the best tub spout that I've seen. Solid construction and it is beautiful. This seller is an excellence seller, one of the spouts that I ordered did not fit properly, the seller immediately sent to me another replacement within 2 days without receiving the defective one. This is a slip on spout so make sure to look up for the instruction carefully, but once you understand the instruction, it is very easy to install. I love the spout and the seller. Thank You,

Beautiful part, but has hairbrained non standard mounting method. Check to see if your wall flange will work with it, mine didn't. It has a brass fitting that screws to the wall flange, but it assumes that the wall flange is INSIDE the wall, not slightly protruding like is standard mounting practice. If your mounting flange is flush with the wall, forget about mounting it, it will not sit flush with the wall.We have quite a few Grohe fixtures, and occasionally, they do random surprising things with their products. This was one of those times. I was replacing a 15 year old Grohe Europlus diverter that mounted in a standard method.Disappointing to say the least.

Used it with the Grohe #19 457 000 Concetto trim with the Grohe #35015000 P/B Valve. Gave a nice modern look at a reasonable price.

Works well. The diverter puts all the water to the shower or to the faucet, as it should, does not allow water to drip from faucet while shower is on. Looks sleek with our system.

Nice, modern fixture and high quality. I guess it should be for the price.UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: This was installed for 19 months and the diverter failed! I have had the much cheaper diverter spouts last for decades and am very disappointed that this must now be replaced.

great product quality comparing to Moen/ Delta.. you can tell from the weight and shine! it's also hard to install. you have to get the exact length to have it secured to the water pipe. overall, very happy with the purchase even though it's pricy..

Have been using it for more than 3 years. Works perfectly. Grohe is the best.

Excellent quality, well made. Just make sure you know where the screw portion fee pipe is. My old faucet was at the back close to the tile and this one is at the front. That was not written in description.

This is the second spout I have received from Grohe and both have been detected. Scratches and grooves on both and one was discoloured.
