Can I add this product to my grain before spawn or should I use magical gypsum for that?

Hello Billy, You should use Magical Gypsum for that, but you can add a bit more MGP + to your grainsoak to get maximum effects from it. Add it to your grains, along with room temperature water (de-chlorinated if possible) for 24 hours, then PC as normal. Will this survive pressure cooker/autoclave?

Hello Shaun, MGP Plus will not survive the Autoclave, but you can use it as a grain additive in during your grain soak. This way, the microbes will enter their exponential growth phase with the grains, perform microbial mineralization & secrete their MGP's which survive the temp & pressure of the PC. This will give your grains a head start, but there will be no microbes that survive the PC - so you will have to reapply when S2B. Thanks, John (DrMyc)

Will this product work with Brown rice ?

Yes, MGP and MGP + will work with brown rice. Many of the microbes are Bacillus and are ideally suited to brown rice - those using either of our MGP formulas with BRF cakes have seen very good results.
