AdoraPlush Doll with Color Changing Bathing Suit - 12 Sunshine Friends Summer

I recently discovered Adora toys -- what is for me a new brand but has been 110% reliable in providing adorable well made toys with great details.My five year old daughter loves swimming and can't wait for the day she's old enough to be on the swim team like her big sisters -- she loves all things swimming so I knew this would be perfect, and it did not disappoint. This doll (Summer) is well made -- all seams were stitched completely. She is incredibly soft and perfectly stuffed -- not too stiff to bend and not to loose to be floppy. The size is perfect -- big enough to play with but not too big to take along on a trip. The details are well thought out -- I appreciate that her hair is made from the same material as her body so there is no yarn hair mess that cannot be fixed after the first day of play. Her two piece suit quickly changes color in the sun from a white (maybe a hint of purple in there?) to a medium purple. Changing back is slower but complete. The doll comes with everything a girl would need for a day at the pool -- her sweet shirt, shorts and shoes are removable (but do not change in the sun). The shirt is my favorite part -- it has a heart, whale and starfish pattern on it to make it perfect for swimming! We do find it a bit hard to take the shirt on and off (slow) but doable. She has a terry cloth beach towel and my daughter's favorite accessory -- goggles! .Since coming into my house this has been the favorite doll. She has gone to the park, the pool an Grandma's. And she is the perfect size and softness to use as a bedtime stuffy. Which means she needed a bath. This doll is machine washable and seemed to handle it fine -- I did not put her in the dryer but just laid her flat on a towel to dry.I am so pleased with this doll and despite all the love she is getting I expect that she will last a long time!

My house is already filled with a variety of Adora brand dolls but this one really takes the cake!First off, I love that the doll has no added smell to it. Lots of Adora dolls have that "fresh baby powder" scent and personally I can't stand it.This doll is small, lightweight and easy to take on the go. The entire body from head to toe is made from soft, plush material and her little bathing suit is sewn on professionally with no visible flaws. Her eyes and cute little smile are embroidered on and her hair is tied up with two shiny pink ribbons. Since there's no risk of pieces falling off, I feel safe giving this doll to my toddler who enjoys putting everything in her mouth.She comes dressed wearing tiny removable shorts, fabric sandals and a tank top over her sewn on bathing suit. We haven't put the doll out in the sun yet to test her color changing swimsuit so I can't speak to how well that works.Her "coolest" feature would have to be her sparkly, pink sunglasses which attach by a small velcro piece on the back. My toddler was most fascinated with taking the glasses off and trying to put them back on.The doll and all her included accessories are very good quality but the sunglasses are a little annoying. Once you cut off the little tags that are holding them in place it's nearly impossible to get them to stay on.She also comes with a tiny color coordinating beach towel. I think it's made from some type of polyester blend material. It's soft but I don't like the cheap feeling of it.I'm only giving 4 stars because part of the sewing on the doll's tiny bikini was done wrong. Not a huge deal but also not a 5 star product.Overall, this is a well made, fun doll that kids of all ages would enjoy playing with.

She also comes with shoes, sunglasses and a colorful beach towel.There’s something really cool about the bathing suit, it changes color when it gets out in the sunlight! Better yet, she wears the cutest sunglasses!Her bathing suit is white, but when she goes out in the sun, it turns purple. She’s ready for the beach or the pool with her suit and beach towel.But the best news is this doll is fully washable! Super soft, cuddly and machine washable! And, as our granddaughter sweetly puts her new doll to sleep. This is a very adorable doll. My daughters really enjoy dolls, and they liked her a lot. I like that she comes with different accessories. It makes her more fun to play with. This is a good sized doll. It isn’t too big or too small so she can carry it along and it doesn’t seem overwhelming.I am pleased with the quality of the doll. My kids had no problems with her. She held up well to their handling.This would also make a very nice gift. My girls like getting dolls the best of all.She is reasonably soft. She looks just like the picture. I think the price was fair. I would recommend it.

We expected one thing but as you can see from the picture above, that cute little thing came instead. I thought about getting upset but my girls loved it. It prompted cuddles and very good role play. It's soft and small. It has removable diaper, tunic and binky. The binky has a small magnet inside that lets it stay on top of the doll's mouth. It's a cute toy that is enjoyable. Adora has good toys but it would be nice to receive the toy we expected.
