Loved it so I bought another.Very warm! Nice double layer.

It's the least stretchy material I've ever encountered for long underwear - less stretchy than silk, and silk isn't stretchy. It's a little scratchy, and I was debating whether to keep it or not. Decided to wear it and it wasn't horribly uncomfortable or anything, but the lack of stretching plus slightly too big size made it function poorly at keeping me warm. Final straw: I leaned too close to a hot stove and it melted a big round hole. So long polarmax. Back to my decent walmart bought garments for light weight use in the city (the stretchy polyester kind), my silks for light hiking and my good quality heavy duty synthetics for more serious use.in really cold weather.

We have other polarmax thermals and we love them. These thermals are very different from our others. The material is very strange and stiff. They were sub par especially for the price. They were returned.
