My nephew loves KMart and when I find this book, it might back memories of the blue light special but better yet, made my Nephew so excited!!!!! What an awesome find! Book is loaded with pictures and facts! Thank you so much!

Not only did this book bring back great memories of shopping at Kresge's and Kmart, but the well-researched history of the company was very educational. So many photos and old advertising! I bought a few more copies for gifts. I highly recommend this book!

This is a walk down memory lane especially those from Michigan. This is a thorough account of the Kresge business with detailed information about the people and places. Very enjoyable!

This is a very comprehensive book about Kresge and Kmart. I am not done with it yet. I am loving learning the history of these stores.

Not enough of a narrative to this book to begin with. About 30% is pictures which can be found online, another 30% is verbatim newspaper articles which can be found in deep searches and another 30% is dry paraphrasing of these and other sources. No joy and no depth. The worst part is the other 10% where the "author" presents lists of locations that are clearly lifted from retail fan websites--which I know for a fact were painstakingly created by others. These are not given any attribution--so they are charging for plagiarized work. Given that I know some of the book is just lifted from others, I would question the rest.
