Fits perfectly on 2015 GL
The air grille on my 2015 GL350 had developed dollar size holes in both plastic hood grills. I think Mercedes charges about $120 EACH for replacements. I ordered these and they fit perfectly. I didn't compare them side by side with the OEMs but you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. They didn't include any instructions but it's easy to figure out. You're going to need a plastic pry tool and (I think) a T15 star bit. Open up the hood and remove the plastic piece underneath the air grille. Unscrew the air grille in 2 places uses the T15 bit. I then partially closed the hood and used my plastic pry tool to remove the air grille. I then put in the air grille, pushed the air grille from from the side of the grille (if you're facing the front of the car) back towards the center of the hood to make sure screws lined up with holes (it should snap into place), screwed it back in from the bottom, and put the plastic piece underneath the grill back in place. Do the same for the other side. 5-10 minutes per side at most.

Adequate replacement
These look similar to the originals. The original right cover had a fine mesh screen behind it that this one did not have. Since this goes to the cabin air intake, which goes through two sets of filters, I did not think it mattered too much. The fit of the left cover was excellent. For the right cover one screw hole was offset by a couple of millimeters, which put it right against the screw hole in the metal brace. The plastic seems a little cheap for something that will get direct sun and heat exposure. Having said that, the originals basically disintegrated when I went to remove them.Removal of the old is pretty straight-forward. We have a 2013 GL450. Each side has a different cover under the hood. Use a vinyl trim tool to pop out those covers. There are three tabs to the front of the under-hood cover (i.e., closest to the front of the car) on each that you press in to pop out the under-covers. Removing each cover exposes two T20 screws. Remove these, and pop the old grille cover on the top of the hood out. When installing the new cover, you must insert the tab that "points" to the center of the hood. The left cover snapped in cleanly. For me, the right one did not seem to seat perfectly (very slight gap - <1mm, but not enough to push the cover above the line of airflow).I think these are OK. I debated 3 or 4 stars. The price is good, and the left cover fit perfectly, but the plastic quality and imperfect fit on the right cover led me to the 3 star rating.
