CAP Barbell 2-Inch Olympic Grip Weight Plate | Multiple Options

To start off the new year, I got six 2.5, four 5, and four 10 pound CAP plates to add to my growing collection. They are all perfect for my use. GOOD: The overall feel of the plates is great. I have been using these for over 2 months now, and I have zero complaints. Putting six 2.5 pounders in a bundle (instead of four) was a nice idea. BAD: The paint is not always accurate, but it is good on most. Some of the silver paint from the numbers transferred to my hand at first, but I think it finally dried. I also noticed on a single plate there was a small, sharp burr that I was able to snap off before it became a problem. END: In the image, you can see each size along with a 10-lb Fitness Gear for comparison. I did not weigh any of the plates to confirm they are the correct weight, but if you are into that level of detail, these are probably too cheaply made for your purposes. If you are an at-home gym rat like me, these are fine for most uses.

I was at my local Play It Again Sports looking at some used 25-lb plates for $35. I thought “there’s no way I could get them cheaper new on Amazon, is there?” Sure enough, a dollar cheaper, new, same-day and with built-in handles! Sold! They shipped out as two separate orders, for some reason. Upon arrival, one of the plates was packaged exceedingly-well: very secure in its box, carried the box one-handed by way of one of the box flaps and it held with no problem. The other plate was packaged adequately-enough but in as strong of a setup. The box was noticeably thinner and the flap ripped upon trying to carry it to another room, dropping the weight to the floor. Not worth taking a star off but still, it would be nice if they packaged them all the same. The plates are identical and the handles are very useful and comfortable to hold them by. Nice chrome-looking accents on the logos and the weight designations. Other than that, they’re heavy pieces of metal, just what I ordered.

Wanted to supplement my weight set with some tens and saw this set of four Cap plates at a great price. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Cap had these packaged so well. They were double boxed, and each plate was wrapped and surrounded with foam. I could not find one flaw on any of the plates and the quality is excellent. Baked enamel paint coating was perfect. Plates appear to be well casted without any sharp edges.

Really good barbell weight set. Feels like good quality, heavy duty metal material. Came packed really nicely and to prevent scratching against each other. I got these to use on a Marcy Weight Bench that has the 2” hole part for leg curls. Even just using these by themselves feels like a good workout, nice hand holds.

I have ordered a lot of Olympic weights and exercise equipment here lately and I'm extremely happy with everything that I have received

These weights are perfect for what they are, my kids are still young learning how to lift property. Can't speak to the longevity of it since I've only owned them for a month or so, but I would definitely recommend them.

Ordered a few of these, only one arrived broken and I don't believe it was delivery I think it was sent like that. Nice quality, they are brittle so you need to be careful never to drop them of course.
