STARESSO Portable Espresso Machine Pink

Update: I've changed from one star to give star because after reaching out to the company they fixed the problem by sending a new one for free and after trying it out for a month before posting this I am happy to say it works as it should and looks to be made better. The pink one although I love the color (it makes me so happy) it is made of plastic which I think flexed with the hot water during the process, the black one is food grade stainless steel and the part where it joins with the filter and o rings is made much more solid on the black one ( see inside black machine photo). These reasons are probably what caused there to be so much grounds in the espresso with the pink one. After one month with the new one I have made my double shot mocha with consistency and it tastes fantastic. Thank you Staresso for keeping my dream of portable espresso alive!!! Also compliments for how well and quickly my concerns were handled! Thank you! Old Review: Possibly scammed...could be great espresso maker... want to love this however I believe I was sent the wrong parts inside so I feel like I got scammed. The o-ring is way thicker than ones I see in videos reviewing the same product and my screen has a strang point on one side and doesn't fit well into the rubber gasket that seals the water chamber from the coffee part therefore letting through coffee grounds. Not pleasant. Still manages to make an ok cup of coffee which only bums me out more to realize that it would probably be wonderful if it only had the right parts. Such a shame and waste of money that I saved for months in order to buy this for myself. I live in an RV and this was perfect for my space, time, and travel. Would love to give it a better review but unless I hear from the seller or manufacturer this is about as good as it's gonna get....best of luck, if you do purchase this, that you'll get the right product.

I travel often and it’s so amazing for all my coffee lovers out there! I definitely recommend this little expresso maker for on the go. I love everything about it because it’s so compact yet you can make any kind of coffee you like as long as you have ground coffee and hot water AND it takes no longer than 5 minutes to use this thing!!!

Good product works well

This thing is AWESOME! I love using it, and being able to manually make my own espresso shots. I love that it doesn't require power or electricity. The only drawback is that it takes probably a tiny bit longer to actually make the coffee than a traditioal espresso machine, but it is fun to do, so I personally think its worth it!

I got this for Christmas and already returned it once, apparently a piece fell out the after the first time I used it while cleaning it then rendered it useless. You wouldn’t know it though, it doesn’t really show that piece on the instruction manual. It was the little black rubber filter thing and I didn’t realize it was in there til the new one came. (I can only assume this is what happened, I didn’t see the part discarded and didn’t remember seeing it until I got the new one.) anyway. I’ve had some great drinks from this. When it works. Which is about 60-75% of the time. The rest of the time it just pumped out brown water that was nowhere the taste or consistency of espresso. Now going to attempt to use it this morning, the first espresso shot worked fine. And then now, has completely stopped working. Won’t even pump the water through and I’ve done nothing different and ensured no parts fell out. It was great while it lasted. But I don’t recommend this particular portable espresso machine. I guess I’ll keep saving for a real one.
