Just buy it. I researched these for weeks, this is real teak and holy smokes is it durable. I'm not a small guy...I put every ounce of strength I could muster to bend this little spatula...even a smidgeon...no go. It's lightweight...and extremely durable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this or ANY of these FAAY products. I also own the left-handed wooden spoon. Their spoons are every bit as nice as this spurtle/spatula.Overall, just a top notch product. I plan on converting all of my kitchen utensils to this brand. To me...they are the OXO of wooden utensils...or should I say what OXO should be? When you get yours...you can decide that for yourself. I know my thoughts...and...they'll probably mirror yours.

Went out on a limb buying this...wanting to replace plastic tools. WELL...it is an awesome little tool! It WILL flip and egg...maybe little different that the old kind, but really good job, burgers too!

Love this, sturdy, but very comfortable in my hand

The wood is lovely and smooth. A feel of quality. But it's too thick for some uses, like, say ..... flipping a fried egg or pancake, or scooping hot cookies off a cookie sheet. Probably better for stir frying or scrambling.

Had to convince the family to start using this spatula. Don’t we just love our cancer causing plastic utensils?! Do not put in dishwasher machine. Hand wash!. I use linseed oil when it’s looking dry after washing. Much nicer wood quality than bamboo or olive wood. I love this shape. Could be longer. Very ergonomic.

This is my husbands favorite spatula. It looks and works great.
