340,000 Miles and Counting
Started using Seafoam about a year ago when my 2016 Toyota Camry was burning oil. I was using about a quart of oil every 1200 miles. I started putting 5 oz in the crankcase and the remainder of the bottle in the gas tank 200 miles before every 5000 mile oil change. After two treatments, the oil consumption rate is about a quart every 6000 plus miles. Reduced engine noise and improved performance. The Camry is going on 340,000 miles with all original parts. It works for me.

Like Oil Detergent
Added to my oil, as directed at 1oz/qt, to clean up sticky variable valve timing solenoid oil control valve issues in my 23 year old Pathfinder. Still running great with mostly all original engine control parts. Just needed a bit of internal engine cleaning needed to remove years of residue from those small oil passages. Saved me the cost of replacing the VVT solenoids.

Added to the oil and it pulled out a lot of carbon on a used truck
I utilized this additive in my engine oil 200 miles before my scheduled oil change. This is on a Toyota tundra with a 5.7 L V8. I added the correct amount to the engine oil and drove 200 highway miles and then scheduled my oil change with a proper supplies. When I pulled out the Oil filter and took a closer look I saw an awful lot of black specs. It may be hard to tell in the pictures that I have attached but upon closer expections, you will see little black dots. When I would grab those and rub them between my fingers they would smear , like carbon deposits that had been removed. There were no metallic flakes or hard bits that I felt. After using this product, I noticed that the vehicle idles smoother, accelerates and runs smoother, and I do believe that it helped clean out some carbon buildup on my high mileage truck. I’ve been a believer of seafoam products in the gas and I am now a believer of seafoam products in the oil. If you follow the manufacturers directions, I would assume that you would be happy with the results as well.

Seafoam procedure before oil change
I add 1.5 ounces per liter of engine block. For example I drive a 4.0 liter V6 engine so i add 6 ounces in my engine oil crankcase. And drive 100 miles than drain oil. And conduct my regular oil change procedure.
