No-bake recipes that are very tasty!
The Book:Nicely formatted with good pictures, nutrition information, lists of ingredients, and directions. It even has an Index for easy look-up of recipes if you want to use up a specific ingredient. The ingredients are mostly labeled in cups and spoons, but grams are also provided for almost everything. Note that a food processor is highly recommended for most of the recipes in this book. All of the recipes are also pretty quick and easy to make with minimal preparation time required. The Recipes:I've tried 6 recipes from this book so far and they've all been pretty tasty. The recipe for Maple, Pecan, and Oatmeal Energy Balls was the first we tried and it was delicious, even though we substituted brown corn syrup for the brown rice syrup called for. Next we did the same recipe with pistachios instead of pecans and it was also super tasty. The Banana Bread Energy Balls were next and they're my favorite, so far! The author just said "3 dried whole bananas" for this recipe... which was super unhelpful, but is thus far the only notable measurement deficiency. We used 85 grams of store-bought banana chips and it worked out just fine. Next, we made the Pumpkin Pie Energy Balls, substituting the hemp seeds called for with pumpkin pepitas instead... delicious! The most recent one we made was Hazelnut Super Fruit Energy Balls, which were amazingly sweet, but not my favorite. Still tasty, though. I'm looking forward to trying the Chocolate, Almond, and Avocado recipe next!Takeaway:I got this book because I'm soybean intolerant and just about every granola bar or similar quick energy snack on the market has soybean oil in it. We tried baking granola bars, but it is so hard to get the timing of the bake right and we mostly came out with burned or falling apart bars. Since these recipes are no-bake, they come out perfect every time! Most of the recipes are vegan, too, so I can share them with my vegan friends. I highly recommend this book.

Great Cookbook for Balls
I’ve been looking for a good complication of protein ball recipes and this fits the bill. The book is divided up into different sections including breakfast, lunch, brain-boosting, performance-enhancing, and bedtime. I love the fact she uses wholesome ingredients such as almond flour, coconut nectar and flour, and cacao powder. I can’t wait to try out some of these recipes. Honestly, I’d try every recipe as they all look so tasty. Also, the photography is beautiful and each recipe easily outline with nutritional facts.

... going on vacation last fall I changed my longtime poor eating lifestyle to a healthy one
Just before going on vacation last fall I changed my longtime poor eating lifestyle to a healthy one. While on vacation I fell in love with protein balls that I purchased at a beachside shop. I searched the internet for recipes I could make at home. Many of them where made with protein powder, which is great in many things, however I found the I much prefer them without it. Energy Balls has so many amazing recipes and no protein powder. I have made 10 of the recipes and they are so delicious and turn out exactly as the photo looks and usually 1 or 2 more balls than listed. Love Love Love this book!

This was the perfect cookbook for me at that time
Found this book in the local library while recovering from a concussion and was in no tv, no computer, no thinking hard mode of my recovery. This was the perfect cookbook for me at that time. I started with the matcha chocolate recipe, then avocado, then chia caramel and just tried the cookie dough. It's about time to return the book and I'm pretty far along in my recovery now but I don't want to give this book up. So we decided to buy a copy. It's worth every dollar.

Great book
I have tried 5 of the recipes in this book so far and they are all excellent. The energy balls freeze very well so you can make several recipes at a time to use later. The book is organized and well written. I highly recommend this book.

Always on the lookout for new and fun snack ideas that are healthy
Always on the lookout for new and fun snack ideas that are healthy, easy to make and suitable for a paleo diet. These little energy balls are the real deal! So far I have made the cashew orange with great results. They taste exactly like a Larabar, but at a fraction of the price. This week I plan on making the double chocolate and the chocolate cherry. Come this weekend, my friend wants to help me make the PB&J. Great book!

Fun balls
This book has great ideas for healthy, nutrient dense snacks for picky little eaters. I'm looking forward to trying all the balls. So far, we've only made one (pumpkin) and unless I missed the instruction on another page, it would have been helpful to suggest chopping the nuts separately before mixing the ingredients in the food processor.Love vegan balls!

My new favourite recipe book!
So far I've made 3 recipes from this book and they are all sooooo good! My favourite is the sweet and salty popcorn balls. They taste like those delicious caramel popcorn balls that are so yummy but full of sugar... except these balls are HEALTHY and delicious! I found myself sitting on the couch thumbing through the book with a cup of tea, enjoying the beautiful photography as well as the write ups about each ball and the healthy ingredients. Besides the great recipes, this book is educational with Christal explaining in detail the health benefits of each ingredient. I give this book two thumbs up and can't wait to try more recipes!
