MegaGearLeather Camera Case Compatible with Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II, E-M10 (14-42mm)

very nice case..fit s well with the 14-42mm lens..but with a lens filter and cap, it s bit tight..i ended up cutting away the padding in the nose to allow less preasure on the front of the lens..UPDATE..the flap that releases for access to the battery and sd card is a great feature not offered to many other offerings..at first it seemed to work seamlessly..then one day..the hinge on the battery door broke off..the bottom of the frame on the case is of metal..and somehow prevents the battery door from opening fully..i ve had to file down the opening to allow the door to open fully..as for the battery door..can not find a replacement anywhere..and have had to return the camera for an exchange..despite this..i still like the case alot..

I love my new case. It helped that the price dropped almost in half when I bought it. It looks classy and snaps on tight. I had no problems changing the battery or the sd card as some others have stated.

I love the look and feel of this case. It fit perfectly on my Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II. However, the screw came loose and fell out the first time I used the camera. Need to get replacement screw.

Decent fit and finish. Nice strap and easy to use the camera while on. I'm satisfied with the overall product.

I really was hoping that I like this item. but I don't.the casing for the camera is loose around the front where there's curves on the Olympus camera, and the lens cover portion is too tight on top that i am afraid it will break my camera. I am thinking returning it, the only nice part is the strap.

Great buy, does not look cheap at all, I bought the dark brown one.

Fits great my olympus om dreally hard case and it protects a lot, good estructure.

Well made, strong and very protective, it looks, feels and smells like real leather (if it walks like a duck etc....). At the moment it fits like new shoes. I hope it will supple-up with use. The lower section which fits the camera body, can be left in place for most function, including battery change, connection to computer, etc. My main intention for buying was to protect the camera in transit and it fulfills this very well.Two points -1. the two studs connecting the main case to the part which surrounds the camera body are probably subject to the most stress. These are on straps thinner than the remaining material and feel as if they could be more substantial.2. the retaining screw in the base that fits into the camera tripod bush, itself has an inner thread so you can fit a tripod without removing the case. However the two studs mentioned in 1) are 2cm either side of it. They protrude about 5mm, preventing a tripod plate sitting flush with the camera case. So to use a tripod you must totally remove the case.Overall, I'm happy with it.

This is a lovely case - nice quality finish and build quality, especially for the great price. My only criticism is that the two poppers on the base part (that screws onto the camera) get in the way of my tripod plate. I have to take it off to use my tripod but the screw does not have a handle and requires a screwdriver or key or similar to undo it. For everyday use with a kit lens this is a smart case which offers good protection to the camera.

It is a bit heavy as it is leather and bulky. If you needed to remove the battery, it is not as easy as other soft covers and the battery cover doesn't open all the way. A plus is that it is vintage looking which one of the things that I was looking for.

Die Hülle für die Kamera ist schon sehr gut und schützt auch wunderbar. Nur der Riemen zum Umhängen ist sehr umständlich zu befestigen, da das Material sehr fest ist. Prompt habe ich es nicht fest genug befestigt (was einfach auch nicht besser ging) und der Riemen löste sich und Kamera landete auf dem Boden (leider in dem Moment ohne die Schutzhülle). Ergebnis: Objektiv ist hinüber. Somit nun wieder alten Riemen dran, der sich sicher befestigen lässt und den Riemen von MegaGear dort hin befördert wo er hingehört...in der Mülltonne.

Ich hatte eine solche Tasche schon einmal für die Pen PL8, die passte aber sehr schlecht bis gar nicht. Jetzt die Tasche für meine OMD EM10 passte entgegen meinen Vorahnungen diesmal super, sogar mit dem Zuiko 1.8/17 und einer Gummisonnenblende drauf.Die Verarbeitung ist gut, alle Druckknöpfe sitzen fest, die Nähte sind sauber genäht. Zum Fotografieren muß man die Klappe gar nicht komplett abmachen, sondern es reicht sie herunter zu klappen - wie früher, als solche Ledertaschen noch die allgemeine Norm waren.Insgesamt ein guter Kauf.
