"A One-Man Wrecking Machine"
Jason King, 6'3", 220 pounds, doesn't exist because he's part of Black Force, a secret government agency, that also doesn't exist! Now that I've cleared that up, he sounds like a hero because of his attitude. He loves the USA 🇺🇸, and understands his skills, as a warrior, are desperately needed in these difficult times. His "handler", Isla, interrupts time-off that she has given him, and that he is spending with his love, Klara. She sends him on a one-man mission to Eastern Russia to find out what has happened to ten World Health Organization workers who are missing. What follows is mind-blowing and terrifying! Has he been set up? Are the decisions he makes the right ones? This complex storyline is imaginative, brutal, violent, and over-the-top suspenseful!! This is a story not easily forgotten. Book 5 of 6, "Corrupted" stands alone well, but book 6 is set up at the end. The Author, Matt Rogers has given us a really amazing, engrossing, and fascinating read!

AMong the BEST adventure-action Fiction
Matt Rogers just gets better and better. I have read ALL of the Jason King series, and I think that there is an advantage to reading the stories "in order" - since some of Jason King's previous adventures are mentioned with some of his earlier friends and foes. The plot moves very quickly, with non-stop suspense, and over-the-top violent combat between Jason King and "armies" of bad-guy mercenaries. When Jason King isn't fighting corrupt police or black-hearted mercenaries for foreign soldiers, he is fighting to survive the artic cold of the Kamchatka Peninsula. The author is an Aussie who appears to be succeeding very well in a self-publishing journey. Lots of realistic combat operations, like a HALO (high altitude-low opening) jump out of a stealth bomber. And a very realistic plot, with good-guys from an NGO getting kidnapped by "bad guys". Among the best suspense fiction I have read, comparable to the best of Vince Flynn, and Ben Coes, and Tim Tigner. Looking forward to the next "installment."

Fast edge of your seat page turner you dont want to put down. Prepare to lose sleep.
I have just completed all 5 of the books in this series and absolutely couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I love the character. I sincerely believe this is the next Jason Bourne series. Cant wait for the movies. When will Book 6 be out??? Cant wait to get the ending. I would have liked he character Slater to have been introduced a book or two earlier than book 4 because the interaction was perfect yin/yang between the two. I think it was Book 3 that uses he word 'baulked' a lot.....funny that I noticed that. No disrespect meant, just an observation. I highly recommend these books for everyone looking for a great new hero. Fast pace, exciting, edge of your seat and twists and turns making the ride great.

Matt Rogers is an excellent writer. I think he belongs in the top ...
Matt Rogers is an excellent writer. I think he belongs in the top tier of writing action thrillers. I think he deserves more acclaim than he has received so far. Corrupted is an excellent read. I plan to read all future books by Rogers.

Loved It
Action packed story that was beyond intense! I loved the description of the desolation as well as how terrible the the Russians were. They were cold and heartless. Just a great story and even better series.

Another very good book......
Love these Jason King books. A lot of action. Jason always protecting the untrained, helpless people wherever he is sent..Hope the next and final issue of Jason'.s story gets released soon. Please, Matt Rogers, think of adding Will Slater to More books, he seems to be very interesting along with good camaraderie with Jason King. They'd make a great team. Thanks, Amarillo Turtle

WOW!!!
I have read all five Jason King's in succession. They should be read this way since the stories intertwine and build in action each time. Book 5 has left me hanging for Book 6 which I am reluctantly reading will be the last of the series. How sad that will be!

Full speed ahead
I'm not sure how it happened, but I started reading this series at book 5 rather than 1. Nevertheless, I was spellbound from the start. Although I think some of the fighting scenes were a little over the edge, the fact is that I had to read to the end as fast as possible. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

Readable
OK, I only gave it 3 stars, but so far I've read all the books in this series. The writing could be better, the events are questionable and often not remotely believable but I find myself really enjoying them. There are better written stories out there, Lee Child comes to mind, but this series has been fun so far!

King just does not know how to quit, he is a machine reeking mayhem wherever he goes. A brilliant read.
