Fishing kayak anchor line
I use it as an anchor line. Works great! Very sturdy frame and the handle is move/removable so you can mount it someplace if you want. The bright green helps you find it, haha.

Need to know
The "clicker" mode has very little resistance, nearly freespool. There is too much line on this reel "imo", line comes off side of spool and creates a mess. Cut about 50' off. Otherwise good construction. Make sure line is tight and reel is locked when not In use on dive, otherwise you will spend bottom time trying to remove the clusterf of line when you need it.

Started Rusting Immediately in Salt Water.
This has a total of 2 dives with this, I did not have my camera with me, but it would have looked like this about 10 minutes into the first dive. Look at the sheen on the plastic handle already worn from the extensive wear and tear from 1 dive that I actually used the product. Rust already on the Rivet. Now look at the metal bracket, you would think I had it for years in the tropics, nope one day, 2 dives, 2 hours 20 minutes. That is what it looks like. I have the actual ship date of the order and I dove 1 week after it arrived, I can not make this stuff up.

I used this reel for my anchor line and it worked great. I took it out on my 16ft kayak to dive off of and it held in 60ft of water out in the ocean. The anchor got a little stuck so it took some strong pulling to get it free and the line gave no sign of failing. I was able to reel over a hundred feet of line with an anchor on the end with relative ease. I highly recommend this reel.
