How hot is the black truffle?

Obviously, "hot" is somewhat subjective, but I would put this on par with or just slightly hotter than sriracha, if that helps. I wouldn't eat it straight from the jar, but the flavour definitely comes through more than the burn. It's outstanding, and so versatile!

Is it securely sealed? The jar arrived with the plastic tamper-proof seal torn and down below the lid.
