I bought these for my Father. They were on sale and I took a chance on them. They were less expensive than a set of pruning shears. If they were really bad quality, I had the option to return them. No chance of that happening. These are very sturdy, and durable. Thick metal and quality hinges. Dad's pruning shears were old and cheap made; Dad's eyes lit up when he used the pair in this kit.

Get ready for spring gardening. This set looks great and well awesome.

What a great set! I've had so much bad luck with pruners in the past and so far these are amazing! And the fact that you get amazing pruners plus the trowel, hand saw, gloves, and the roll up bag, these are a deal! The fact that they can keep well all in one place is a great love here! I can add all of the pieces nicely in their roll up bag into my apron and carry along!Will update if thoughts changeI highly recommend!

This time of year, I do a ton of pruning and cutting small limbs of trees. I have a big garden in my unruly back yard, so tools like this are a must. I've been quite happy with this set. The pruner especially is great. It cuts easily through everything I've tried, and seems well designed not to stress hands. I like how easy it is to lock in place after use. The saw is pretty nice too. I used it quite a few times on bigger limbs, and it sawed through them well without a huge effort being needed. I did have a bit of trouble closing the saw back up---it took a little bit tricky combination of pressing the right place and pressure, and it was a little frustrating, but I did manage to get it closed. The case is kind of odd, in that it ties shut, instead of snapping or zipping. It makes it easy to get at, but it doesn't enclose the tools very securely. Overall, I do like these tools quite well, and have reached for them over and over this spring. They feel like they will last a while, too!

Time will tell.more about the quality of these tools.As first impression this is a good tool set.I like the rolling case. It doesn't take much space. And it is discreet.As a toddler mother I found that many garden tools kits get the kids attention because of its colors and open bags. Not this one. And this is super important because of the nature of these tools.More updates will be made as I use them.

Tidy kit! Nice, small (compact) gardening tool kit. I primarily plan on using the saw. It's nice and sturdy with a razor sharp blade!

This garden tool set has all the tools required to maintain your garden. My favorite tool out of the set is the garden pruner because it’s very effective at cutting branches up to one inch in diameter. Overall I’m very impressed with the kit and would definitely recommend it.

This set works well but it does have quite a bit of plastic too. I find that plastic won’t withstand years of use but time will tell. Most if the parts that configure the tools are molded plastic. Like release buttons and there is a switch on the pruning shears to change how wide the handle open for smaller or larger hands. I’ve never seen this setting before so that is sort of unique.I like the scissor type shears rather than anvil type. I’m glad that is what is in this set. They are sturdy enough to cut most small branched I expected them to. The saw worked on anything thy struggled with. I have another saw that is a bit larger with different teeth design. This one is easier to use on smaller branches that are just large enough the shears can’t cut. The other one I own sort of hangs on branches that small due to teeth spacing however when branches get larger than a couple of inches that one outperforms the one included in this set. It still works but it doesn’t cut as fast. The teeth design doesn’t remove as much wood per stroke. So this set works up to maybe 3 or 4 inch branches well. It will work on larger but there are more efficient options.I haven’t used the trowel yet but it seems functional enough.If you are bad to leave tools out on accident where they rust before they fail, this is a nice set for a couple of years. There are much higher quality tools that will last longer but they will cost more too.
