WORKS. DONT REPLACE YOUR COMPRESSOR UNTIL YOU TRY THIS
For VW models - this one was specifically Denso compressor - if you're having intermittent a/c issues try replacing this part before attending a full compressor replacement (which is the only thing dealers and shops will do). Need to recover the refrigerant from the system, remove a snap ring, disconnect the electric harness then install this piece and do everything in reverse. If you're lucky, you'll pay 100ish dollars for what is normally 900+ repair.

Doesn't fit Denso 6SEU14C
Seller says it fits Denso 6SEU14C but it doesn't. This one is about 2 inches too short.

My TDI Jetta is cooling off nicely again. Dealer wanted to replace the entire compressor and I knew it was just this valve. It was easy enough to replace myself and I also ordered a set of HVAC gauges and borrowed a vacuum pump and with some PAG oil I was able to purge and recharge it all myself all in all probably have $150 in the job and the dealer wanted $1800
