Game. Changer.
Okay.. this worked SO WELL! Just look at those shiny heatless waves! No frizz or weird kinks, just seamless uniform curls. I love this thing, I’m never going back to a curling iron.

You need it!
Super impressed! No heat at all. Slight learning curve but when you figure it out it works great! The trick is to definitely spray dry hair with water and get it a bit damp before you use the curling ribbon. I have super thick hair and it wouldn’t have dried if I had used this with my hair sopping wet. I was also nervous the ribbon wouldn’t be long enough for my hair but I had room to spare and my hair is down to my bellybutton. 10/10!!!

You have to add hair mousse and tie it down
For me the first time I used it my hair unraveled. So the next night I tied it down with a headscarf and used mousse and the curls turned out ok. Gave me a lot of volume.

Easier than you think, and totally worth it
Before purchasing, I’d seen a lot of reviews and tutorials on Tiktok showing the results. My hair is thick, coarse, and naturally wavy, so I figured this might be a good alternative to rollers that are time-consuming to put in, difficult to sleep in, and ultimately not worth it.And MAN was I right to be hopeful. Wrap pieces of damp hair around it before bed, the tighter the wrap, the tighter the curl. Easy to sleep in since there’s nothing on the back of your head, and my curls are BOUNCY the next morning. My only complaint is that it doesn’t help give any top-volume, but nothing some teasing can’t fix. 10/10. I’ll never go back to a curling iron.

Love it!
If used according to the instructions you get beautiful results! Definitely don’t put it in soaking wet hair. Make sure hair is only slightly damp. And if you put it in slightly damp hair prone to frizz with no product, it’s going to turn out frizzy. I put my favorite leave in conditioner in along with a light curl cream from Living Proof, then dried my hair until it was about 60% dry, making sure to point the nozzle down to discourage frizz. Then I put the curler in. I love the results! Next time I’ll part it even deeper.
