HodedahImport Kitchen Island with Spice Rack and Towel Rack, Chocolate

I just finished putting together this cabinet, after 2.5 hours, and it is uneven and missing a hole for the left cabinet door. The whole process took so long because all of the nails and other tools were all in a bag together with no way to tell the difference between the two tiny screws. We originally had to order 4 replacement pieces because they were broken and scratched, only to get those pieces 2 weeks later(ordered Amazon prime to have it quickly) and those pieces were also scratched. We were still missing one of the metal plates for the cabinet doors after all of this, so not only is there no place to insert the cabinet, but it wouldn't be able to close anyway. The directions were unclear in some steps, which is another reason it took so long. I am VERY unhappy with this product. I have never had a bad experience with anything I have ordered online, but this product is ridiculously cheap and poorly made.

Bags of screws scattered among the panels scratching nearly everything, save one small shelf panel. Top piece is broken and OEM says they don't have all the parts to replace it as per their manufacturers warranty against defects in workmanship. All compressed fiber board with laminate. Every piece had missing laminate as they were using a very blunt saw to manufacture the panels. Instructions were hard to follow, pictures very small. Example: Look in the picture for how to put this together: [portrait size picture trying to show detail]. Can't send it back via UPS due to damaged box, but they can sure as hell leave it at my door in the rain. Save your $100 for something else you'll regret later.Negative rating for both Amazon, UPS, and Hodedah for failure on all fronts.

Can I give this 0 stars? This is the biggest waste of money and time. Seriously a complete hunk of junk! It took my sister and I almost 4 hours to assemble this thing and not only were we shorted screws to assemble it, but neither one of the cabinet doors or the drawer would shut... The knobs are cheap plastic that came with screws too long for the thickness of the door. The "beech" top is not wood or even laminate. It's like a papery paint covered particle board and arrived out of the box damaged with the corners crushed and crumbling off. Don't think that you can use this as added counter space. AND on top of all of that, one of the castors was broken and wouldn't roll. The directions appeared to be translated from another language because the grammar was very poor and confusing. After all the labor of putting this rack together and not have anything on it function was the most frustrating thing.However, I will say: huge thank you, to Amazon customer service, for giving me a full refund on this thing (I didn't even have to ship it back) that was very much appreciated. Amazon, you should really remove this junk from your sales.

My mistake was thinking I was going to get a cute island for my tiny kitchen for extra storage and easy access for my tiny child. NOPE! After I ordered, stupidly and possibly drunkenly, I read the other reviews. All said -missing parts -damaged -uneven -no instructions. But they were not for the white one i ordered. I thought the white one would be okay? JUST received this and started to take panels out of the box. CONFETTI??? This isn't a major purchase but thanks! As I pull out each piece, Tiny damage, tiny sticker glue... BIG chunk of corner missing, finish peeling, the sharp edge of the torn material, mysterious liquid warps all down side, DIRTY HAND PRINTS! DISGUSTING! I was sold a USED and DAMAGED item that should have been burned in a bonfire to rid the world of its nastiness.Remember folks, always read the reviews BEFORE clicking buy and NEVER SHOP DRUNK!I can summarize this experience with one simple word, REFUND!

Was very excited to recieve as i just moved and there are no drawers, only 2 cabinets in the kitchen, and a 1ft by 1ft counter top.However, corners of shipping box were smooshed when package was received. Upon opening the package, there were sheets of styrofoam, but are shredded up and broken.Took each piece of product out 1 at a time only to discover that there is a nickel size chunk that is missing from the corner of the counter top.And a chunk missing out of the corner of one of the panel pieces as well.Further more, one of the main chicker pieces is cracked.Tried to do a return/exchange but the app will not let me.When selecting reason i select shipping box and product damaged and submit, it changes to something else.Also only gives option for refund.I need this product so i can finish putting my kichen away, however for just over 100$ i expect the product to not be damaged.Otherwise this product would be perfect for what i need.Last minute inspection realized therr are giant shoe prints on box. Apparently durring shipping someone stepped all over my product as well.

So heavy, hard to put together, the end result is an uneven banged up cabinet that kinda looks cute if you squint and turn your head to the side. Our doors didn’t fit and the wood was bowed and the screws for the knobs are too long so we have janky knobs and doors that fall out of place if you look at them wrong. I was so excited to get this then very let down by the end result, especially after all the hard work and time put into assembling this monster. Hey, it works-ish, tho.

Item was left on the driveway packaging is damaged. This is a Christmas present just hoping that the item inside is not damaged. Please reply to me regarding a return if necessary. package weight 81 pounds .. i don't weigh much more than that plus i am a senior..not pleased. 2nd delivery items was not drilled correctly and the quality was very poor would not recommend this to any one...

The materials that it used for some of the parts amazed me how cheap they are. Using plastic hinges and plastic connector for some heavy duty item like a kitchen island is just really dump. The instruction require lots guessing because the picture is not align with the product. Some locations has more "holes" showing than the actual product so you couldn't figure out which side it really is. I was that closed to ask for a return, if not because all the effort I already spent to build half of it.

box arrived in very bad shape and a few of the components had small chips and scratches in them. Too heavy to return for such small defects but not impressed with quality control. Product was as expected and exactly what we wanted other than defects.

Pour la cuisine. Certaine pieces sont écorchés parce que l’emballage est trop fragile. Le styromousse était brisé. Mais pour le reste , c’est bien.

La planche est tellement brisée qu il est impossible de monter le meuble. Doit retourner ce meuble très pesant (76lb) et le délais pour en avoir un autre est long. Comme beaucoup d' autre, je trouve le produit cheap et le dos de l'îlot est mince est couvert de petit clou de finition donc nous devons laisser le meuble collé au mur.
