WYZBEN New Gate Lockbox Single Hole Weldable Steel 3 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 1 1/2" Unpainted

Great product delivered as advertised. I was able to modify my existing gate which did not have a lockset on it by cutting the frame large enough to fit and weld this lock box in. This box accepted my Schlage WiFi enabled lock so now I can control who has access through the gate and can monitor if the gate is locked or not. I can also control the lock on my gate now to allow access to my pool by the pool service company. Couple this with my backyard and pool cameras, I can keep an eye on my pool and back yard.

Purchased a man gate for my pool, cut the frame and welded this box in, fit perfectly. Then purchased a Master Lock commercial leverset, and it was a perfect match.

The measurements are right, and a standard lock fits in the hole. Can’t beat it for the price.

I needed an item like this - so I ordered two... after waiting too long to install them - I welded them in place. NOT GOOD - these are not crisp corners... it is more like pillow than a box. Very difficult to impossible to weld and make it look flush to the gate square tubing...

Dimensions are not accurate! These are 1 3/8" deep and useless for 1 1/2" square tube.

product is great, save yourself some headache get one of this for your next gate project.

Rust! Yes, mostly surface rust and can be removed, but why? The inside even worse. Buying metal for welding in both stores and metal supply chains, and they always come with preventive coat or oil. This is crusty and needs lots of detail work to even clean up.

These are 1 3/8” thick. Will not be flush if you are making a gate 1.5” thick.
