My hair stylist recommended I get a silk pillowcase because I'm 64 and my hair can look brassy and frizzy, especially in the humid summer months. She also said that she thinks it helps a person's face as well. When I first looked at silk pillowcases, they were so expensive that I just couldn't do it. But, then I found this one and ordered the slate blue color. Well...She was right! I love this pillowcase. I never use anything but it! My hair looks so much smoother and healthier, and so does my skin. Also, the quality is great. I ordered it months ago, and it has held up great! I will be ordering these for gifts, even getting one for my stylist. She confided in me that she doesn't have "real silk" because they are too expensive. Not this one! Well worth it!

Such a relief to find a pillowcase that is actually soft - and remains so after several wash. The sewing is also of quality with a minimal/discreet zipper. Also great rich color options. I have two of these and very happy with the purchase! A helpful hint is to put these in a small laundry bag before tossing in the washer/dryer and to remove from the bag right after to avoid unnecessary wrinkles ;)

Love these new pillow cases! I had purchased “silk” pillow cases before at Marshall’s but soon realized they were a polyester blend. I went on a hunt on Amazon to find real silk pillow cases after hearing about the great benefits they do for your skin and hair. I love these pillow cases. I do wear thicker face creams and aquaphor for my lips. I will say the only downfall is that they show stains easily from the products transferring to the pillow. But a darker color case should hide stains better.

I love this pillowcase. The silk is soft and smooth and feels great against my skin. I ordered the Peacock Blue and the color is beautiful. I've paid 3x the amount of this pillow for silk pillows in the past and they weren't as good of quality as this one. They started tearing at the zipper seam where I do not appear to have any problems with this one. I only ordered one to try it out but will soon be ordering more. Highly recommend it!

So there is a little piece of fabric attached to the contents of the box, you can make a test at home to find out if the silk is authentic. At least that little piece of fabric for test truly is silk. I did the test. The fabric of the pillow seems to be the same fabric, so probably silk, although I could confuse it with rayon as rayon looks and acts similar.Anyway, it is nice to sleep on, soft and slippery, comfortable and doesn't get too hot as some other fabrics like cotton sometimes do. It is pleasantly cooling in comparison. I am happy with the purchase, took an ivory/off-white color, it looks very nice and matches the rest of my linens so well. I didn't however notice any difference on the skin or hair, I slept on that pillow for around two weeks now. I still like it though, but don't expect miracles.

This pillowcase is wonderful!! It feels soft and luxurious, and my hair is still fabulous when I wake up. If you are looking for a silk pillowcase that won’t break the bank this is it! I love it so much I ordered a second since they are hand wash (I just throw mine in a lingerie bag) so I don’t miss a night!!

I just got hair extensions and I read online that sleeping with a silk pillow helps keep them from getting matted and makes them last longer. I got this silk pillowcase and it was a game changer for my hair. I have washed it twice and it held up fine. That was the one thing that worried me about silk, but it turned out to be a non-issue. I did not dry it, I let it air dry but since it's a natural material it dries fast. I'd definitely recommend this pillowcase. Apparently it helps with prevention of skin wrinkles too - bonus!

This is my first silk pillowcase, but I have slept on satin for several years. The quality seems very good and it washes well. I love that my hair doesn’t have bed head and the silk is supposed to be good for my skin.
