Bare Ground BGPSO-1 Empty Battery Powered Sprayer for Bare Ground Liquid De-Icer

My husband decided that this would be the year he no longer went around the yard with spray pumps, killing weeds, grass in places it shouldn't be, and preventing bug invasions. He always said how tired his hand got, pumping the spray over and over. So in spite of some of the negative aspects given by a few of the reviewers, he said he wanted this. The day after it arrived, he was out in the yard spraying weeds inside our big bushes. He said he could never get all the way inside the bushes before to attack the weeds growing there, but now that he had the wand on this sprayer, he could get all the way in.There was no stopping him. He went after every location he could think of in the yard and around the house where weeds might grow, and between the pavers where unwanted grass sprouts up. And still he was finished in record time, with little effort. His verdict? He LOVED this sprayer, wished he had gotten it long ago, and did not have one complaint about it.UPDATE!!!AND THEN IT QUIT WORKING. After about two weeks,the sprayer began making a grinding noise, and the spray was only a trickle. My husband replaced the batteries with new ones. No change. We bought expensive NiMH rechargeable batteries, allowed time for them to be fully charged, and still the sprayer only grinds. Besides all of this investment, my husband had bought concentrates that he thought he was going to use in the sprayer, and now we are out that money as well. On the plus side, the seller has just responded to my request for a refund and will grant a full refund to my account. They (Get Organized) have been super in this regard.

We bought this specifically to spray Liquid Fence brand of deer repellent which we use very successfully here and purchase it by the gallon. The problem we encountered with this sprayer is that it can't handle any solids or particles in the spray solution and clogs immediately. The nature of liquid deer repellents is that they contain solids and particles, and without knowing in advance that this sprayer is for clear liquids only, we got stung. However, when using the sprayer to then apply liquid glyphosate weed killer (RoundUP) it worked flawlessly and showed good battery life.

This is my second one. It is great . The only issue I have is that the battery door keeps coming off and I lost it. The other anode for the battery is in the cover so you cannot use it. But it still is a great little sprayer.

I have had this sprayer for about two weeks now. It runs fine, but have only used very thin liquids thru it. I have been using it for spraying "round-up" type liquid thru it and it has worked fine. I have also tried it with patio wood treatment, as well. It uses up battery life fairly quickly, but for small jobs, it is no problem. I am happy and would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a portable sprayer which did not weigh a ton and could reach high areas which did not require me to climb a ladder. I'm over 60 and this sprayer allowed me to do all me garden spraying without a lot of fuss. It's so easy to use and it looks so small yet it is quite a tool and is also easy to clean. If you don't have a massive amount to spray this is the tool for you . I have 7 fruit trees and 2 gardens of 20' by 20'which I was able to spray and change mixtures in less then 2 hours. I would highly recommend this tool to any gardener who is not into a lot of time spent spraying.

This is a really nice, small sized sprayer that I can carry around without bothering my back. However, ours stopped spraying before we were through the 1st gallon. I emailed the seller through Amazon, and without further questions, the seller immediately credited my account for the full amount. Perhaps I just got a bad one. It happens. So, I would say give it a try, because if there are any issues the seller will resolve quickly and fully.

I use this sprayer to spray deer repellant. The repellant is pure liquid and the sprayer starts spraying at full force and quits. I have to turn the motor off and on to get the spray started again. This item does not work efficiently.

Just wish it had a tip that sprayed finer. My old sprayer allowed me to use one gallon of solution to spray almost one acre. Your sprayer forces me to use two gallons plus to do the same job. Are other tips available?
