Radical Confidence: 11 Lessons on How to Get the Relationship, Career, and Life You Want

I have been following Women if Impact, since I started my journey of becoming the woman, I envisioned I could be. Through Lisa Bilyeu’s Youtube Channel and Instagram I found she was launching a book. I preorder it right away because Ms. Bilyeu is someone who I go for inspiration, when I have no energy to be my own hype woman. I was intrigued to learn how to attain “Radical Confidence.” The book exceeded my expectations, because not only it is teaching me to be a rad Gal, as I call it, I was given a boost of hope that I never though I could have. Imagine this, it was six in the morning, and I was making a t-shirt for my husband’s new plumbing company on a circuit, that I bought to sell merch for my Youtube Channel. Our family is sacrificing all we have for our plumbing company to succeed. We stopped wanting to get a seat on the table, we are aiming to create a table who can provide seats that are comfortable for people to seat. My husband tired of been overworked and underpaid, asked for a raise at his old job, and was told that he could leave instead, if he wanted to, but no raise. As a family, we agreed for him to quit his job and became an entrepreneur. Even though I work from home, take care of the kids and I am a screw away to lose my mind, I continue pursuing my dreams. I am tired, but I am the happy. The t-shirt I was making that day at 6:00 am on my bedroom floor, is a practice for the merch that I want to create based on a children’s book that I am currently working on for the past 6 months. I am going for my dreams and supporting my husband’s dream at the same time. Sometimes I ask myself who am I to have such high dreams? I come from nothing, the people I am surrounded off come from nothing as well, the privilege of dreaming is something that does not come natural to us. Then I read billionaire Lisa Bilyeu co-founder of Quest Nutrition and Impact Theory telling the story of how she started packaging bars in her living room floor all by herself. How to fund the company that now is worth billions, they had to put their home on the line. How she worked so hard and moved from packaging bars in the living room to moving to a garage and moving on so fast until she oversaw a production line of 40 employees! I saw myself stumble upon a treasure, the Bilyeu’s blueprint for success: vision, determination, hard work and partnership. I hope that through the pages of Radical Confidence I come out as a version of myself capable of never letting go of my dreams and working so hard that I can oversee a group of employees that have a daycare at the office and can bring their kids to work or at least to be able to have a decent job that allows them to pay for day care without having to sacrifice their income. And next time I ask myself who do I think I am to dream so high; I will get the confidence to believe in myself even when I have “insecurities, are vulnerable, or feel lie total s...” THANK YOU LISA!

Great story. Great humor. A fun, helpful, and inspiring read! Highly recommended for anyone seeking more confidence and success in life!

This book shaped my thinking in the BEST way possible!!! I admire Lisa to the extreme and felt like I had a personal 1 on 1 with her reading her book. Her raw honesty, life advice, relationship advice and humor? This book was a investment and reading this book was time well spent 🙌

At my first glance, this is going to be a great read!

"Radical Confidence" is all about the mindset one needs to make dreams come true. The quote I know Lisa Biliyeu has mentioned, not sure if is actually in the book, is from Steve Martin: "be so good they can't ignore you" . I have it on repeat in my head, every single day, as a reminder of what I need to do to get my project off the ground.

I loved this book. I am one of those persons who stop reading after the third chapter if the book does not keep my interest. This was not one of those books. One of the things I admire about Lisa Bilyeu is that she is a great communicator. That skill came out in this book. She writes like she speaks and that kept my attention cover to cover. This book was a quick read for me. The examples in the lessons that she writes about are relatable. While I was reading the book, it felt as though she was speaking directly to me. I made notes while reading this book and plan to read it again.

I love this book, and love Lisa Bilyeu!!! What an amaaaazing book!! It's totally a life changer!! The 10 No-BS Lessons are so practical and applicable!! I am recommending it to all my friends, and family, including my young nieces!! Lisa is so authentic, honest, graceful, transparent, descriptive, and so funny in her narrative; you can relate to what she's saying!! This book is a must-read for every woman, no matter her age, who wants to be empowered and discover and develop her RADICAL CONFIDENCE!! Thank you so much Lisa for writing this book!! This is the book to read to become radically confident and the hero of your own life. No one has impacted me or my journey as much as Lisa. She is a true, real-life superhero and the most good-hearted, badass, loving individual that I know. This book details how Lisa transformed her life by altering her mindset in ways that would allow her to follow her dreams --even if that meant making mistakes, facing fears, accepting challenges and making peace with her inner-critic. It's one of my very favorite books --funny, practical, inspiring and it reminds me that I can do hard things even when I'm afraid. This book is compiled of all the lessons, insights and strategies Lisa has learned summed up in a step-by-step guide to help anyone find their own radical confidence within.

Amazing book. It’s brutally honest, no bs, no artificial ideas. It was like looking to myself in a mirror, accepting my imperfections and getting the tools to use them as super powers. Totally worthy reading.

Honestly, WOW. When Lisa says “no BS lessons” she means it. This book is SO genuine that it had me saying “girl, YES, thank you” more times than I can count. Lisa‘s advice is so freaking real.If you’re looking for the same old “confidence is key” and “don’t listen to the negative voice in your head” then this is not your book.Lisa helped me accept and appreciate myself (and my negative voice) for WHO I AM while also identifying the areas where I can (and want to) grow and know that I CAN DO WHAT IT TAKES and develop confidence along the way.Oh, and her writing style is fantastic. She writes as if she was talking to her best friend. Her jokes and references are hilarious AND they are a great anchor for the lessons she’s trying to communicate (so easy to remember them when you can actually associate them with different movies and Friends episodes!!).Please buy this book, you won’t be disappointed.
