Better than expected
Shipping was pretty fast considering how crazy things are right now.. i believe most people should have no problem doing this on their own with little to no electrical experience, I’d recommend watching a quick video on wire connections if you’re worried about that but it’s extremely basic. Installation was pretty straight forward though it would be nice to include some basic instructions. You must transfer the clips from the old Crv faceplate so use a flat head screwdrive and pry them but try not to send them flying 15ft. Purchased a seperate adapter for my Honda.. i believe i used the blue-headed harness that was included(whichever matched the adapter best) and snipped off the head exposing all the wires then proceeded to solder and heat shrink. I snipped the extra antenna wire(blue), i then matched all the other colors except for the red kind of looked orange but it definitely was red.. i didnt use the brown wires, nor the seperate orange and orange/white wire on the Honda Adapter. I then plugged in the antenna, routed the usb’s to the cubby above the cig lighter, just wrapped up the gps wires and ziptied them and shoved it behind the stereo because i plan on only really using the carplay for navigation… speaking of which to activate carplay you simply press the app z-link and then either plug you’re phone into the proper usb, or set it up wirelessly.. works surprisingly well considering the price, as well as fit and finish… User interface takes some getting used to but im also not a usual android user. I purchased the warranty for obvious reasons.. i was very happy to see it light up when i turned the key and play some music from my phone with navi split screen.. makes it like a modern car. 45watt per channel is nice as well, i plan on upgrading speakers to kickers and fosgates with a homemade 10 inch sub box. I recommend solely using this device for carplay because the normal android operating system is kind of atrocious.. it cant open google maps without crashing. But radio interface is nice. Equalizer is nice but a little finicky because i end up fat-fingering the screen and changing multiple hz settings at the same time.. i think that covers pretty much everything so far… hopefully this helps somebody because i went into it stubborn and blind (not literally)

Doesnt always connect to phone, touchscreen fails, Horrible default music.
Ok, so I liked it at first.. it looks cool and all until you realize the maddening fact that you have to constantly forget the unit and learn the Bluetooth on iPhone. It just says waiting for connection and it drives you mad.. Once you figure it out its easy.. HOWEVER Thats just the start. There is a utterly terrible song loaded into the systems memory that automatically plays if you cant connect your phone and you have to ask the people how to remove it. So with that settled I was ready to enjoy it.Now the touch screen randomly thinks something is touching it and it will pull up settings, or calendar randomly and when your phone is connected will call people randomly... Ive cleaned it and checked every single setting and there is no way to fix it.Too bad its beyond the return or refund time so that means they make it JUST good enough to fail after you cannot return it.

Bad Interface
Looks: goodInstall: straight forwardScreen: slightly pixelyIssues:1. Audio plays automatically when I start my engine. I can’t figure out how to turn it off2. The time is wrong. Every time I try to fix it in settings, it sets itself back to the wrong time when I start the car again. Also, the time is slow: it gains about 50 minutes per every hour.At this point I’ve just unplugged it and left it in for looks
