My kitchen decor is 1950's. Think ice cream parlor and Happy Days. These super cute shakers fit right in. The color is perfect! Bright and cheerful. I love the font too. It looks like it was handwritten on. The shakers work great, dropping just the right amount of salt and pepper with just a couple of shakes. These are great and have the often elusive perfect red. There are too many color variations and the orange-red is not acceptable. It has to be blue-red! These shakers are exactly what I was looking for. Yay!

I think the writing in a contrasting color to the intended contents is an adorable idea. I like the size of the containers. I'm glad I bought the clear version instead of the opaque, so I can see how much salt or pepper is left. The holes in the lid are a little bit larger than I expected, but it isn't a problem if I adjust the way I sprinkle. I would buy this again.
