Type C to 3.5mm Audio Headphone Stereo Adapter Connector, USB 3.1/ USB C to 3.5mm Audio Microphone Female Adapter for New Macbook 2015, XPS13, CDLA, Headphone,Type C Port Devices

I tested this device on the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL phones, and it does not work *at all* on any of them.- Audio output does not go through the adapter when headphones are connected. (Audio still comes out the phone's speakers.)- Audio input does not go through the adapter when a 4-conductor 3.5mm headset is connected. (Audio still comes in from the built-in mic only.)This is particularly bad for the Nexus 5X, as the product description clearly states that it works with the 5X.(I’m fairly sure it won’t work on Chromebooks or the new Macbook either, but I did not test them.)
